Dead as a fuging doornail? Ours stopped taking up water about a week or so ago. We can walk by it and you can hear the needles dropping. Tinkle tinkle tinkle. It's brittle and dead looking. Only one other year have we had this problem, and I bought the fake snow in a can and flocked the tree to keep the needles on. It also helped hide the dead green color. Should have done that for this tree.

My friend's tree has done the same thing. Hers is small and bought from a different lot than ours, too.

Yeah, mine has stopped drinking as well. But it's not shedding brutally, yet.
