Martin was learning the defense this year. Next year I think he will excel.

I think - and HOPE - this has a lot to do with it.

I agree with the sentiment that Martin is the bigger concern. I thought he was better when he first saw the field than he has been this season. Hopefully a full offseason in this scheme will help him a lot.

I think you are wrong. However I don't think we will be able to definitely tell either way till the front 7 situation gets sorted out. I believe that due to the shortened off season the defense Rivera truly wants to run hasn't been implemented. Hopefully next year either way we find our if a) Martin can play b) Godfrey worth the money c) Is Hogan/Butler/Munnerlyn is the answer.
