State Of The Franchise:Carolina Panthers

How much more entertaining would the draft be if, when it came your team's time to announce their pick, a 7' tall package was rolled out onto the stage?

Then we could watch Marty Hurney and John Fox tear into the package to reveal to the audience who we had selected.

John Fox would be that kid who was never surprised on Christmas day: "It is what it is."

Here, I'll save you guys the time...

Eisen: Let's talk about the Carolina Panthers. 12-4 last season, lost to the Cardinals in the playoffs. Rod, your thoughts?

Rod Woodson: Dump Jake. Fire Fox. Hire Cowher.

Eisen: That's it for the Panthers. Good night.

LOL..I think you have the first one right Outlaw, but Woodson is insanely in love with Fox because he played for him in Pitt when Fox was a DB coach.

And yeah, having Portis do that segment on the Panthers was moronic. They don't have anyone on there I would consider knowledgeable about the Cats (Faulk? Dukes? Yeah right!)I wish they would let Mayock do them, but he is too busy with the draft.

marshall faulk is actually very in tune with the panthers on offensive philosophy, he was the only one who said williams should have been a pro-bowler and the only one to expect a big year out of williams in 2008 i think he even also said he was the best RB of 2008

Considering I have been here for about 3 years, I don't consider myself new. I just had to change my user name, after I forgot my password, but thanks for welcoming me back.

One would think that if you had been here three years you would have recognized his name.

Then again, you were probably just being condescending.

But welcome back, whoever you are. :D
