So does Freeman qualify as a starting QB?

Freeman was owning us this game for a long time. He was completing EVERYTHING. He's still a good QB and worthy of being a starter. Their defense was just getting manhandled and we were grabbing turnovers.

So when did Carolina have this top ranked defense? Sure it's easy for him to look good against a HORRIBLE defense and he still didn't win.

I don't remember anywhere that I said we have a top ranked defense? Reading FTW? The point is, he's not a bad QB. His team is crumbling around him and his coach isn't an NFL caliber coach. I'm sure the injuries he has been battling didn't help either.

newton? It wasn't about Newton, it was about the defense being unable to stop an average quarterback when it mattered. He's not out there playing defense.

Freeman does suck this year, the Bucs in general suck, but our defense came to play again today. Still, I feel like the only time our D stops people is if our opponents stop themselves or we get a turnovers :(

It's not the crazy disruptive unit I'd like it to be yet, but they're clearly improving week on week.

I would agree they have shown improvement, particularly in taking advantage of opportunities for take-aways, but they are still blowing assignments, particularly in the defensive backfield.

next week will be the real test. I expect the Saints to score, but our offense should be able to keep us in it. Can our defense get the stops late in the game to pull out a win?

Cause if so, myth busted.

If the 50 plus million dollar Sanford can keep his job then so can Freeman.

Funny how quick those who aren't the media's choosen are considered bust as soon as they start showing any signs of weakness. In the meantime, media favorites like Blaine and Sam Bradford have the media blaming everyone on the team but them for their team's loses.

Why such double-minded thinking?
