Beats him in Comp %, TD %, INT %, Yards per Attempt, and QB Rate.

And Beuerlein never had the team around him like Jake has had.

I was talking about his Panther Career but if you look overall then Steve is head and shoulders above Jake.

Well, there WAS this guy named Steve Smith...

steve smith wasnt a returner nearly aslong as bates was. steve smith is a WR while bates was strictly a return man. when he was playin he was a lock for the pro bowl nearly every year

from 1996-2000 he reached the pro bowl every year as a return man. and last i checked he still holds the nfl record for yards per return for his career

You're both right. Steve Smith is our best punt returner ever. Michael Bates is our best kick returner ever.
