I watched that NFC south discussion on nfl.com and that doofus said the falcons won the division last year.

I get so pissed when the media doesn't give credit where credit is due. Everybody hypes the falcons so much he thinks they won the division.

It's such a slap in the face, like the panthers don't even exist.

Your bias is fail.

Yea real Bias when I only have you guys losing 1 home game this year to the Eagles to start the season as I bet they have you guys out manned on both sides of the ball. You must forget that you guys haven't played that well on the road and saying your only going to lose 1 home game is more biased in your favor then being realistic, if I was being biased I would have you slated to lose at home to the Bucs.

You guys have plenty of tough games on the road this year and a early bye week. Kurb even thinks its a lock you guys lose week 3 at Dallas and Atlanta put up 45 points when you visited them last year. So its more in Atlanta's favor to win at home over you guys on the road.

We seen what the Cardinals did on your home turf and you guys get to make the trip out to Arizona, so that should more then likely be a loss...

Follow that up with heading back to Carolina to practice and rest, and then a trip to New Orleans... the odds are stacked once again as Brees seems to do enough to win if his defense could just do anything which might happen some this year.

New England, thats a lock for a loss. I don't care what anyone says, they have a better overall team and a way better quarterback.

The Giants beat you once at home playing catch up, I don't see DeAngelo scoring 4 touchdowns in a losing effort this time around. They are a more physical group on a whole then the Panthers, only hope is Eli plays like Jake does.

Even some of the home games are questionable as any South team could take you guys at home, The Vikings beat you guys 20-10 and they too are like you guys with not doing anything worth mentioning to their team so they could have a edge, homefield is your only favorable odd there. Washington won't be ran on as easy with Haynesworth plugging the middle so the Skins could win but again, I give the odds to Carolina at home. Miami has solid QB play from Pennington and a good defense, add that with some wild cat and you guys could more then have your hands full. Only reason I see you guys winning at home week 17 is because I think the Saints will be out of gas by week 17.

So, yea... don't call me biased if I'm suppourting why I think things play out the way I implied.

I have no problem with your picks actually accept for the Dallas and TB away games....I honestly think it favors the home team, but I could see the game going either way in all honesty

So, I could see anywhere from an 8-8 season to a 10-6 season

Lone Buc Fan... While I believe truly you are trying to be as unbias as possible from your post. The fact remains we are coming off of a 12-4 season with all but maybe one starter returning (Peppers).

I think the problem here is that the Panthers right now are being remembered for the thumping we took against the Cardinals and not for the damage we did during the season. Which is fine by me, I'd rather produce than speculate. I still say this team is capable of 10-11 wins and a shot at another South title. Fresh defensive scheme, continuity on offense. While we could falter, and we have proven we can, to say that we will lose every match up as against a tough team like the Eagles, Giants, and Patriots is laughable. We are a much tougher team than I think you want to give us credit for.

Well the Bucs are remembered for their december run and not the 12 games they were 9-3 with Bryant pulling top 10 receiver numbers out and the defense allowing only 1 rushing touchdown and 100 yard rusher in the same game. That means 11 games without 100+ yards or a touchdown. We even shut AP down of all backs which is the determing factor, injuries hit and all of a sudden we are 9-7 and remembered as a failure when thats not necessarily the case. Thats the same as you guys playing strong all year and getting embarrased at home in the Championship game. The Panthers could win any given sunday, but what team can't? (Browns vs Giants, Raiders vs Bucs)

Just take a look at your 12-4 record though... you guys did win 12 but there were times you guys easily could have been the 9-7 team in the Bucs shoes. So a record doesn't necessarily imply how talented a team actually is...

Week 1 - San Diego W 26-24, desperation touchdown pass into triple man coverage

Week 2 - Chicago W 20-17, they had you guys against the ropes but again, you found a way to win

Week 3 - Minnesota L 20-10 and people have them slated to lose to you guys? They have the same core that handled you guys last season.

Week 4 - ATL W 24-9, Matt Ryan shakin the rookie jitters off but still your most decisive win to this point

Week 5 - KC W 34-0, spanked em as you should have

Week 6 - TB 27-3 L, worst loss of the season, everything went wrong here

Week 7 - NO 30-7 W, Kicked the crap out of the #1 offense

Week 8 - Ari 27-23 W, they had you guys beat and tried a stupid fake field goal, they gave you guys this win, shoulda been a loss

Week 9 - Bye Week

Week 10 - Oakland 17-6 W, if you remember this game you remember Jake struggling horribly which later became case in the playoffs.. Half a offense woulda put Carolina away

Week 11 - DET 31-22 W, beat on em but they did surprise you guys quite a bit I'd say

Week 12 - ATL 28-45 L, this was another embarassing loss

Week 13 - GB 35-31 W, late miracle catch by Steve Smith and the Pack had control alot of the game... don't look for Charles Woodson to make that same mistake time and time again

Week 14 - TB 38-23 W, close till the last 2 minutes when you guys finally sealed the deal

Week 15 - Denver 30-10 W

Week 16 - NYG L 34-28, shouldn't have even lost this one but you couldn't stop their ground game in the end. Probablly the most disappointing loss for Panthers fans.

Week 17 - NO 33-31 W, You had them down 3 scores and they came back and took the lead from you guys... took your final drive to finish them off and Brees hit 5,000 yards passing and nearly 400 yards passing

So look at that 12-4 record and tell me how many games you guys could have lost and how many games you guys decisively won. Not many in your favor of decisively winning, most Panthers fans give their team more credit then they should as you guys don't typically finish games off in a dominating fashion like implied time and time again. Not to mention, your schedule is harder this year.
