WR to consider for next year

For those that seem to think that just because I brought up a possible WR to add, that I think WR is the biggest need on the team. Where the hell did you get that?

I simply saw in an article that he would be a FA next year, and damn if he would not be an upgrade over Legadu Nanee.

I know where our team needs are, but that does not mean that if an upgrade is available at a position, you don't consider it. Geez.

alshon jeffery in the 2nd?

I am thinking defense-defense -defense in the draft,plus Alshon Jeffery will probably be off the draft board when we pick in the second round.

We need to sign Roscoe Parrish and release Armanti Edwards.

I'm fine with Steve Smith, Lafell and Gettis.

I don't trust Naanee although he's gotten better as the season went on.

Pilares hasn't caught a ball all season... he's an unknown.

One young receiver in the draft or a younger FA would be nice in my opinion.

Defense is the #1 priority though.

He is expected to go right around then. If he falls, we would be silly not to take him. But, I do believe we need help on both lines.

Not as set at WR as some think.after Smith and LaFell everybody else is on a 1 year contract, coming off a injury, or is a unknown. The FA List of WR is not bad and some of those guys will not break the bank.

Keep in mind Rivera has gone out of his way in recent weeks to mention how excited he is to have Gettis back next year.

Also keep in mind we did seek out some higher quality names this year like Santana Moss even before Gettis got hurt, so it's possible we still search out a receiver from that cloth (older, still good, not overpriced)

THAT said, I also think Rivera was part of the crowd at that time that so delusionally (not a word) thought Smitty was washed up-and he obviously knows better now.

Just some things to keep in mind.

I think everybody agrees that we need defense and are looking for young players to grow with Cam. I like the idea of a FA WR for depth but thing Wayne would be too expensive. Lets be honest we have great playmakers on offense but no playmakers on defence. And before the Beason and CJ remarks. They are amazing players but Beason is a question mark and CJ is a top DE but very rarely gets you turnovers.
