If Cutler was any sort of a leader or good influence in the locker room, I'd be all for praising the Bears for going out and getting a franchise QB. Instead they picked up a lying douchebag who is many times more divisive than Orton, and will now be playing behind a vastly inferior offensive line. Not that the Bears' OL is that bad, but the Broncos' OL was just that good.

What was Cutler lying about? Sounds like you know firsthand what happened between McDaniels and Cutler, do you work for the Broncos or something? Is that the same vastly inferior offensive line that just signed 3 new FA players and will get their #1 draft pick back for 09? I'm willing to bet if the Panthers were inserted into the very same deal instead of the Bears you'd already have your Cutler jersey in the mail. Can you honestly tell me that Cutler was a locker room problem or find any of his former team mates that will say that as well? Those straws are getting shorter and shorter but by all means keep grasping.

He supposedly asked to be traded after they dumped his QB coach. Even if that is just a rumor, he actually asked to be traded after he felt that he didn't want to work things out with McDaniels. McDaniels said recently that Cutler was informed the morning of the trade talks that there were inquiries. Cutler then denied right before he was traded that he wanted to be traded (That's what's called lying since he asked for a trade shortly before he said this). He wouldn't talk to the owner of his team. The owner decided to trade him IMO. Mr. "I wanted everything to be upfront" had a chance to deny the talk that he wanted to be traded when his QB coach was fired and he simply refused to answer the question, which was asked to him POINT BLANK by Rich Eisen on NFLN right after the trade was made official and he had his first Chi preser. You know what that tells me? Yeah...he lied again when he said he never asked to be traded. Why? Because how simple would it have been to say something like, "No, I never asked for a trade when Bates was fired, I want to set the record straight on that." That would have made him look good and the Broncos look bad. Why not say it? Simple, because to say it would be lying, and easily contradicted by a now angry Pat Bowlen who was no longer interested in protecting Cutler's little FEELINGS.

Sorry I didn't know you were an expert on telling whether people are lying or not .I saw the interview and all that was said by Cutler is that he didn't care to get into it and that "BOTH" sides probably should've handled it differently and now he's a Bear and just wants a fresh start. Again eople keep bringing up the old "he said she said" bullshit aspect but who cares now anyways, he got out of that mile high shithole and is happy playing for his favorite team of his childhood:D.

I don't give an ish either way, I have no agenda. Obviously, I heard the interview too and know what he said. I am basing my OPINION (no, I am not a lie detector expert) on his actions and words all along. I also see that you are not disputing that he did ask for a trade after the fallout with McDaniels then he denied that he ever wanted a trade to happen.
