I'm sure Luck will be a fine NFL quarterback. The Colts will probably take him with the top pick this spring, and he will be able to learn under Peyton Manning for a couple of years before taking the big stage.

But the Panthers' greatest gift this year was one they didn't even know they wanted. Newton has taken Panther fans on a thrill ride like we had with that three-wheeler--some bumps and bruises along the way, but the promise of years of “did you see that?” moments we'll never forget.

All qbs were having huge games at the beginning of the season which shows the lockout helped Cam break those records. So I doubt his record will broken for a long time.

I have an interesting question concerning Cam. How much credit does Derek Anderson get for Cam's development. The only area I really see DA helped Cam in, is pump faking the ball and looking off defenders. In the pre-season, Cam didn't do any of that. Then in the 4th pre-season game, DA came in against the Steelers and played well. Pump faking and hitting a guy deep for a touchdown. So in the Arizona game, I noticeably saw Cam pump fake a couple of times, and I credit DA in that area. How about you guys, did DA help Cam this year?

No doubt about the fact that DA has taught him how to dissect film and has helped with his footwork. Him and Shula deserve all the credit in the world. This should really be a thread. Do your thang Mathias.

Some of you don't believe me but I am calling it early. The Colts will have both Manning and Luck on their roster next year and will pay the eleventy billion dollars between them.
