Todd McShay's 1st NFL Mock Draft

Rather trade back and take Keuchly. The guy is a tackling MACHINE. I'm not sold on TD coming back next year completely healthy so you could plug Keuchly into that OLB spot and he offers great insurance if Beason's progress is slower than anticipated. Its a win-win IMO if Claiborne isn't there. You get a starter at the OLB spot (or move Beason to OLB and let Keuchly play MLB) and add in the insurance you get at the position.

Our first round pick has to be a defensive difference maker. We can't afford to take a WR with our offense rolling the way it is and our defense sucking so badly.

Trading back is the best option I believe, unless Kalil is there.
