My name is in jest. The guy is my favorite athlete of all time based on things he's done on the field and things he does (or does not do off it) but I am a Panther fan as well.

Surprised TC doesn't do extensive coverage of the Emmy's with how many topics come up about what they're wearing, what they're not wearing, what they could be wearing, and inside sources.

I have a well placed source with Nike.

He wouldn't divulge too much other than Carolina getting overhaul next year (he confirmed this for me months ago) and said every NFL team will be getting a pro combat version of their uniform for next year that they will be wearing at least one game next year as their alternate.

I am not making this up to stir poo. Nike is a client of my companies so I can find this stuff up; anyone who knows my posts knows changing the uniforms makes me sick and I hate it. Just relaying the information to give fellow huddlers a heads up.

Today I ran into a Nike rep who I’ve known for a few years. He was showing the upcoming Nike NFL sportswear line, which will be called “The League.” After showing the pieces (cardigan, letterman jacket, a few sweaters and shirts), he then said that all NFL teams are going to receive the Pro Combat treatment, and that all the teams would get a uniform overhaul. He stated that the amount of combinations won’t be as great as with the NCAA teams, because of the NFL’s uniform rules, which made me believe that this might actually happen.

I don’t know if this is the truth or not, but the rep isn’t the kind of guy who would blow smoke up my ass. FYI, the sportswear collection actually wasn’t terrible.

But like I said guys, Pro Combat doesn't mean an overhaul in design. It's just a style/fit.
