dont think TD was rushed. a true OLB should be brought in who ever the best is. JA is flexible and could play SLB or WLB in a 4-3 scheme.

I'm 90% sure it did. I have no clue why folks are talking about TD restructuring.. He's going to get that 8mil regardless, Hurney isn't going to reneg on his part of the deal.

I had a couple of injuries in my life playing football and basketball. None as serious as these are. I had a friend who played basketball with me and he tore his achilles and he a crucial rehab and got it back right. The only thing that hurt him was he lost some speed and spring in his jump after the injury. So I believe Beason will be alright. He want have that elite speed like he use to but he should still be an effective MLB in the league.

I’m happy we locked James Anderson up. The guy has been a warrior this season and he earned that contract he got. He can play both OLB positions. I think I like James more on the weak side better.

There are a couple of guys in the draft who we could get to play OLB. Luke kuechly. He plays MLB at Boston college. He finished the season with 191 tackles. In the NFL he doesn't have that elite speed or athleticism to play MLB. He could be a great SLB in a 4-3 defense and he has above average cover skills. Another guy that will be a good fit on this team is Vontaze Burficut. The guy is a stud. He can play any LB position in the NFL. His biggest problem is his attitude on the field.

While both these players were in fact behind schedule, until it gets to crunch time and they have to play or practice, it is abnormal for the team or agents to report that they are behind schedule. The normal spin is that they are ahead of schedule and that is my point...it is just normal spin to be taken lightly.

Don't know if you are talking about the bonus he got this year or the one scheduled for next year. As to the upcoming one for 2012, I would be shocked if he gets it.

The team will have a tough decision with Davis. It'd be extremely regretful if we let him go and then he goes to another team and stays healthy, destroying everyone in the process. I think we should keep him. He is too talented to let another team have him and potentially benefit from it.

I think everyone shares your hopes but in his case as with Otah we cannot count on him being there. As far as Beason is concerned Achilles injuries are very hard to fully recover from from what I am told.

I think Im going to like Ron Rivera. At first, I loved the hire b/c he was a great defensive guy who looked like he would fire up a team and have a team thats very discliplined.

Then...games went by and he had that blank stare while we let leads slip away and several stupid penalties and I thought he wont last.

Now...after he basically called out everyone saying jobs are on the line here and the past 2 games hes seemed more into it and the team is playing a lot smarter - I think now that his feet is wet, we are going to start and see the true Ron Rivera and the guy I thought we hired when we hired him.

Regarding his statement about Thomas Davis - He wants to be here and it sounds like Rivera wants him here. I expect him here next season. I just hope he stays healthy for once. Just dont see it happenin though.
