What's your fantasy story of the year?

So I'm in a $100 espn standard league. I go 12-2 in the regular season and just crush every other team's soul along the way. I have 200 more points than the second place guy.

The first game of the playoffs ended last night, and I won 104-104.1.

It was pretty incredible. I went into the Monday night game with a 10 point lead. I had Michael Crabtree and he had Vernon Davis left to play. Vernon Davis ended up having one of his best games of the season, but I barely hung on when the 49ers got a big lead and just wasted clock the rest of the game. PHEW.

Never wanted to win a non-championship game more in my fantasy life.

Nicks dropped pass. Nicks TD taken away for offensive holding. Eli stunk. Graham TD taken away. Gronk is stifled. I wish ADP had not bothered and Percy Harvin is MIA. Maybe next year. (work league) Ugh...

2 years in a row ADP has screwed me in the playoffs. 2 years. I wish he'd not even showed up and I would've started Gerhart.

I knew my day was going to be awful when I saw the Nicks drop.

Starting lineup was:

awful. Dominated all year, and then ADP, McFadden, Best crap the beds and I'm scrambling for a RB.

I love fantasy football and have played for 15 years but there are two things in life that no one cares to hear about:

1. Your fantasy football team

2. Your children

NFL league, first playoff game, std scoring. All my players finished Sunday, Harvin and Gonzo disappear, The Golden Calf of Bristol's 27 points saves me. I go into MNF with an 11 point lead, my opponent (league high scorer) has Akers left. He scores 9, I win by 2. I would have lost if not for the penalty on one of Akers' field goal attempts.

Wife (work league) had ADP and won. We still have a possibility for meeting in the championship game. She still wears the t-shirt from the only time she beat me back in the mid 90s (espn used to give out t-shirts to all league champs back then). She had Steve Young, Emmit Smith and Shannon Sharpe. They all lost their mind that year.

I started Billy Cundiff over David Akers (C'mon, it was the Chargers) at the last second this past weekend; it was a cumulative score of 2 weeks, and I end up losing by 3. :(

Worse than Mare this week. SMH.

I was 8-5 going into the playoffs last week going against the #1 team in the league who had crushed me both times previously...i ended up beating him 206-154. i hadn't even made any changes the last 4 weeks in that league as I thought I wouldn't even make the playoffs, but Cam and Percy Harvin helped me out.

The 49ers D got that last pick (+2 points in my ESPN league) last night in the 4th quarter, and sealed the deal for me in a week in which I had Drew Brees score 56 points against me... I won that game by 2.1 points, propelling me into the championship game next week...

I would like to take the time to thank my starting roster this weekend for getting the job done...

My dilemma for the championship game is to who to start at RB... I can start 2 out of:

Steven Jackson vs. PIT

Ryan Mathews vs DET

Matt Forte (injured)

Felix Jones vs PHI

DeAngelo vs TB

JStew vs TB

Also, I can't decide whether to start AJ Green this week or Julio Jones at my #3 WR spot... Also have Brandon Lloyd...

Oh I forgot to add... I had Brees and Newton to start the season, and traded Brees away... he came back and dropped 56 points on me with a vengeance this weekend...

The guy in 1st place in our league was playing the #4 seed... He originally had Stafford at one point in the year, and traded him to the #4 seed... Stafford dropped 42 points on him yesterday...

If it were me, I'd start S. Jackson and F. Jones. I don't like Matthews consistancy, or D. Will's or J. Stew's for that matter. Cam is just too money around the goal line to start either of them IMO.

As far as the WR's go, I'd start Jones because ATL will probably have to score a lot of points going up against NO.

My opening week of the playoffs in Week 14 I would say qualifies. I made the playoffs at 5-8 and my opponent made it at 12-1 as the #1 overall seed. He had Brady, Welker, Gronkowski, Rice, and Harvin who all put up big numbers. Maurice Jones Drew put up 40 points for me, but I was still down by nearly 80 points going into Sunday Night Football with Romo, Nicks and Ballard, but he still had Dan Bailey (Dallas' kicker) and Dallas' D. With Eli's TD pass to Ballard the score ended up being tied because #1 I had Ballard, and #2, Dallas D ended up scoring -2 points. Romo threw for enough yards on the last drive that I ended up being up by 2 points, but Dan Bailey was lining up for the FG that would tie the game, yet give my opponent the lead. You know what happened after that.
