Don't get me wrong. Le bf is an absolute gentleman. Doors are opened and things of that nature. The payment thing is more of a thing for me I guess. I mean, we both make money, so why wouldn't both of us pay for our meals/outings?

I don't think its fair he would have to pay for everything. Like, lets say on a Sunday of a game we wake up, go have breakfast. That's one meal to pay for.

Then we go to a bar to watch the game (assuming its away). That's another meal and drinks to pay for.

Then, we decide we want to cook or go out that night. Someone has to pay for that food too.

I just think its easier to split things up rather than him looking at his accounts on Monday and saying, damn I can't believe I spent that much $$.
