Well those awards are given out in less frequency and you have much more refined talent to deal with than just rookies. Also, the likelihood that they give the rookie of the month award to the same player in consecutive months is very slim. They probably even toss his name out when considering it. I mean in Oct he did pass for more yards than any rookie QB ever in any month. And the rookie of the week is completely predicated on how big the populace of a team's fanbase would be.

It's hard to wrap your mind around until you couple it with this being a fan driven thing. I generally don't expect us to do well in fan-driven voting b/c we don't have a large national following.
