Breaking Bad Season 5 (Here)

Why do you think that? Because he punched the hell out of the paper towel dispenser?

Wasn't that dent from a couple seasons ago when he was in for a screening and bloodied up his hand punching the thing? I didn't pick up on any "cancer is back" vibe but I might have missed it.

Well AMC, thanks a lot. See you next fuging summer. Dexter and Walking Dead better get here post-haste.

or maybe thats just my theory, am I the only one thinking this?

I'm giving Skyler the credit for his decision right now. Her argument of how much is enough is was a very compelling one. After all Walt did start down this path with the intention of "providing". I don't think there could have been a more stark example of just how much he has provided at this point.

So for now I'm willing to give it to Skyler.

That said I don't think he is out for good nor do I think he gets to ride off into the sunset when this is done. Walt has made choices that have ramifications and there are chickens that have yet to come home to roost.

Speaking of being 'out' I was half-way expecting Walt to tease Hank more when he was talking about quitting the DEA. Of course he came back with the smart ass comment about liking camping, but I was kind of expecting him to egg him into staying on (not that its necessary now...)

This episode had just about everything guys. The ending was looking a little 'too' perfect up until Walt was taking a poo. For some reason I want to believe that Walt had an extra reason for saying he was out. I also want to see how far away Jesse gets (if he gets away at all) before Walt calls him for help.

The prison scene was absolutely brilliant.

The last 5 minutes or so had me biting my finger nails in anticipation of the big finale. I just couldn't see anything coming in such a relaxed environment, and then once you see Hank go inside alone, you know he is about to discover something that will change the tone of the show.

Didn't even think twice about the cancer reappearing but it makes sense in the way Gilligan writes his shows. That scene will definitely fore-shadow something significant in the last season.

Can't believe we have to wait till next summer...

Am I the only one that felt the ending was so perfect that they could have just stopped the show right there?

It wouldn't have been a bad ending if it stopped when they were all just happy in the backyard, but the fact that Hank discovered that book just opened a whole new chapter to the story.

Jesse has to play a bigger role this next season too, there's no way he's out.

Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but where did that gun come from that Jesse slid across the floor when Walt handed him the money?

Was it a gun Jesse had already for protection from Walt?

Was it a gun Jesse was contemplating suicide with?

Was it in the bag of money that Walt gave Jesse? Perhaps the murder weapon Walt used on mike to set Jesse up later?
