Merill Hoge: "Panthers offense maybe the scariest offense in all of football"

I'm loving the three west coast teams making the trip to BOA.....and our guys don't have to travel farther than Denver.

yeah, i'm liking that as well.

fwiw, we are 3-1 against he chargers and the only year they beat us was in '04 in the first half of the season where we were everyone's punching bag and we had a million guys put on IR halfway through the season.

against the raiders we are 2-2, but like with the chargers one of those games was in '04.

hopefully none of those games are prime time games. i like them having to play ball when they are usually just eating their cap'n crunch.

They spent a majority of our efforts this offseason fixing the offense, and we have clearly done amazing things with it. I think all the people calling for Hurney's head need to at least give him credit for that.

rarely will a fan look at Hurney objectively...

Hoge is right, we came out and hung 21 points on the #1 ranked defense in the NFL... then with 7:25 left in the 4th we got the ball and never gave it back. 13 running plays, Texans knew what was coming and couldn't do anything about it.

this is smart play calling. what made it so good was the timing of the ball control mentality. had they started it earlier in the game they would have lost it.

if you try to do that for more time than that then you stand too big of a chance of giving the game away.
