We're catching a break with weather on game day. Should be good football weather: Ptly cloudy high of 56. Rain should hold off until late night Christmas Eve. Rainy tailgates suck.

Looks like I'll be at the tailgate, which wasn't the plan originally, because my brother was supposed to be coming to the game and we were driving up.

His wife's grandpa had to kick the bucket yesterday though, and the funeral got scheduled to Saturday, so now that he's out I'm going to take the early train instead.

For those of you that have followed my post, my daughter is the "fan" that Cam gave the football too in Tampa several weeks back. Her name is Katie Brown.

The Panthers have graciously given us 4 tickets to this game, Im also hearing about pregame sideline passes, but that has not been confirmed yet.

We will be in section 125. I was wondering if this was the "tunnel" area of the stadium?

We would also, like to stop by your tailgate for a bit if possible and if thats ok. I dont know how long we would be able to stay, but wanted to stop by and say hello to you all. I have no idea where this will be but we will try to find it. I have no idea where we are parking or the area in general. Im hoping to park somewhat close to the stadium and not walk forever. Any suggestions?

If anyone would please provide me with some suggestions on how to get there, where you will be, parking and parking fees and any other into that would be greatly appreciated.

Park 10 minutes away, cost $10. Parking is pretty good, lots of parking spots. Park anywhere near center of downtown and you should be in a good shape. You will walk right past our tailgate. Looking forward to seeing you.

Your name is eerily similar to mine lol.

Word of advice, pay for some 5-10$ parking a half mile or mile away from the stadium. Save money and get some exercise.

It'll take you 10 minutes to walk back to your car, but that won't compare to the 90 minutes you'll sit up town with some prime parking :D I made that mistake ONCE.

125 is around the tunnel and closer to the Home side.

Charlotte is a very small city and if you have driven around in any major city this will be a piece of cake. There will be signs everywhere for parking and services, but like I said navigation is a cinch because the city isn't big at all.

I've never been to tailgate, but heard they are great and I am going to try and sponsor the home opener next year if I can (possible, mush?).

Congrats on the tickets and the game ball, you are one lucky SOB! I hope to see your daughter's "marry Cam" shirt again on TV, that was great! GO CAM, GO PANTHERS!!
