If teams start courting Chud for HC....

No. If he wants to leave, let him. He has a history of creating one-year-wonders, so he'd be wise to stick around a show he can follow up on a successful year. If the Panthers go deep into the playoffs next year, I could see him leaving as a HC.

This offseason though, if Chud gets offers, it will likely be from teams that need an entire rebuild. Why leave a team that just got rebuilt and is ready to win to just do it all over again? He'll get his chance, he might as well wait it out. It does make me a little nervous that there will be a high number of teams looking for a new head coach this offseason.

I don't think Chud would be considered a HC candidate at least this season. I just see too many good coaches without a job like Jeff Fisher, Brian Billick, Ect. Not to mention the current Interim coaches that might end up becoming the full time head coach and there are a lot of cordinators and assistant coaches on teams like the Packers, Steelers, Jets, ect that could end up being a HC.

Hell no. One attribute that has greatly impressed me about Rivera is that really seems to have an eye for talent, whether players or coaches.

Remember, Rivera pushed hard for Cam, he brought Chud along with him, he's gotten some great pickups like Applewhite, and he has gradually improved the defense the last few weeks even with players dropping like flies.

It kills me to see guys calling for Rivera's replacement. If its because he has not taken this team to the playoffs then please stop posting. Rivera is or should be everything you want in a Head Coach...that we had availible to us last season.

Rivera was the one who hand picked Chud as his offensive coordinator and gave him free reign to place an offense around Cam...and had the bawlz to let Cam shoulder a great responsibility offensively while allowing him to grow as a leader and as an NFL QB/Icon/weapon/swag master. Utilize College principals that not only translate to the NFL but utterly dictate coverages that defenses use against us.

Even heard fans clamoring for John Fox again....who hand picked...Jeff" off road trucker" Davidson to call HB draws...Please Die! Jimmy Clausen or Brian St Pierre would have started every game this season as Fox would be confused by Newton and how to use him. Remember he was pefering to use Brady Quinn before a near riot in Denver forced him and Elway to give The Golden Calf of Bristol a See! He sucks audition. Whoops.

Rivera- you are lucky to have him and Chud is an awsome OC in the Cam Cameron, Norv Turner level of abilitlies. Both Cam and Norv being questionable Head Coaches..but awesome OCs...Chud needs to duplicate this ...hopefully two more seasons!! OMG!

If another team offers Chud a HC position, there's nothing the Panthers could do to stop him other than try to persuade him. If Chud wanted to leave to be a HC somewhere else, he could.

And to answer the OP question, no.

Since you think you know everything, let me clarify something for u...

Being that he's under contract, he would have to get permission from the FO before he would be able to talk to any other teams.

So yeah, the Panthers have plenty of say as to whether he goes or not.

Think before u type
