Stoops might want to worry about his own job. There is a mass exodus of players starting at OU and will get much worse after the Bowl game. The reasoning they are giving is the coaches being pricks and not knowing wtf they are doing. The Players would be right.

Word has it Stoops will be told fire hypel and venerbles as well as others. If he refuses he will be fired by the board of regents.

Word on the street is that Jones will lose out to his backup in Spring.

What I find so funny is, pretty much what you're saying about Tim is what the media was saying about Cam except it was used to more hurt him than help him. So it's okay to be a mobile QB now?

i always think it's a good thing to be a mobile QB as long as you can throw, i dont have a problem with Cam and have said numerous times, he's better, but one bad game and now people are ready to quit on The Golden Calf of Bristol, i say wait for the offseason, if anyone needs the workouts most it's The Golden Calf of Bristol because he needs to work on ALOT of things, mainly his mechanics.

Jason Campbell is a better passer than The Golden Calf of Bristol, and probably always will be. The Golden Calf of Bristol's mechanics and throwing motion are just god awful. If he didn't have it corrected in college then the transition will be extremely difficult in the NFL. He's just a gimic QB until defenses figure out how to stop it. Which "knock knock" the Bills did. Next year The Golden Calf of Bristol will be useless, and John Fox's inconsistency will lead to a nice 7-9 season (at best), with one of his losses being to Carolina.

Campbell is NOT a good passer, he's average and The Golden Calf of Bristol isnt that far from average, his mechanics CAN be fixed, just ask all the people who hated on Cam Newton, BUT the throwing motion will likely remain, but you can deal with that, i mean people love RG3 and he has a low throwing motion. i dont think he's a gimmick and i think he can be fixed. the Bills did beat down on the Broncos, but i put alot of blame on a defense that made Spiller look like Chris Johnson too, why were the Broncos down 26 to 14 in the first place?? anyways, i am not saying The Golden Calf of Bristol is great or will be great, because that's not my guess, i have predicted (since before he was drafted) that The Golden Calf of Bristol will be at best an average passer when developed.

god forbid if The Golden Calf of Bristol leads an NFL team for another year only to delay them in actually find a real NFL QB...

what's next, Andy Dalton actually comparing to Cam Newton? HAHAHAHHAHAHA....

Giod forbid, the Broncos select a loser in round 2 to QB, sorry, but this QB draft class will likely suck. i say keep The Golden Calf of Bristol for one year, see if you can fix him, maybe with Elway's help they can at least turn The Golden Calf of Bristol into the average passer i think he can be, but you quit on him, then that 1) angers the fanbase and 2) you HAVE to pick a QB who you really arent high on, but drafting just because you dont like the last QB you had.

just as a note, Cam's mechanics were not as bad as The Golden Calf of Bristol's at any point that I have seen videos of him throwing the ball. In fact, before the draft, most people who commented on his mechanics specifically said things like, "Well it may not be as bad as The Golden Calf of Bristol's problems, but..."

but I do agree the Broncos are stuck with The Golden Calf of Bristol another year.

The Golden Calf of Bristol is not even in the vicinty of "average passer". Quite frankly, he may be the worst passing QB that has come anywhere near being a starting QB.

His mechanics, consistency, etc are God Awful. The ONLY time that Denver has a chance against a decent team is if the defense playys absolutely lights out.

The Golden Calf of Bristol can throw a spiral, his biggest issues are poor footwork and arm mechanics, the motion wont likely be changed, but the footwork can.

Yeah they've tried to change the throwing motion and it didn't work for him.

Sorting out his footwork is something that he can do though and it's something that would have a massive influence on his accuracy.
