He says he's banned for being objective. Being a Broncos fan under the cover of being a Panthers fan is not objective it's just a backup plan. Sounds like Cowboys fans, as soon as the Cowboys show a weakness or don't look like they will be in the playoffs their fairweathers jump onto the hottest team possible.

This guys a tool, need to find out who he is and ban him again.

It's Pantherfanforlife (pffl). He's been banned multiple times.

Here is a little factoid for you, John Skelton has a better winning percentage than The Golden Calf of Bristol.. where are his parades of media coverage?

when it comes to Skelton, he has a good win percentage, but Kolb is the guy there unless he has a career ending injury. though he can be good. him and Kolb though both had some good wins, Kolb beat the Cowboys.

The Golden Calf of Bristol lacks the zip and arm motion to be anything more than average. I know Drew Brees Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, and even Big Ben have cat like releases where if they see an opening within the second the ball is out, and there in a hurry. I've never seen Tebows release timed but i'm assuming it's at least twice of what an elite passers is.

the thing is though that can be improved, as of now though he's not even average, BUT if he is average (as a passer) then that will make him a great player because he's a dual threat QB, i do think he has great vision as a runner and is a great leader, but as a passer, he's below average, but if he becomes average than he will be a much better player.

The worst part about this madness is that he is getting too much credit and too much blame. There is no in between. The Golden Calf of Bristol is an average QB with limited skills in a system that utilizes his strengths. Run the ball alot and play defense. Get behind by a lot and they lose. Keep it close and they win. It's simple.

But since The Golden Calf of Bristol is so 'polarizing' no one can be impartial. Its ridiculous

He is a perfect QB for John Fox. I'm just glad we will no longer have to sweat out every game, and not feel like we can make a comeback down 9+ points.

Some of the more vocal members online who may not understand the finer points of football, also don't speak for all of us.

Having said that....

A few months ago I came in here asking if Denver would ever consider trading The Golden Calf of Bristol to Carolina to play as a back-up for Cam Newton. It wasn't meant to be a knock on The Golden Calf of Bristol, quite the contrary.

I didn't believe The Golden Calf of Bristol was nearly as bad as most people thought he was and believed if we were going be committed to the type of offense we are running, a capable back-up quarterback is necessary that plays the same way. I also believed very much in John Fox and wished him the best and continue to regret the decision to part with him as a coach, but sometimes there's not much one can do about football politics. I even remember some Broncos fans thinking nobody would pay for The Golden Calf of Bristol. It's ok, we all make mistakes.

After being banned enough times from my own Panthers forum for trying to be too objective, and pointing out that completion % is hardly a good measurement of a quarterback's accuracy when talking about The Golden Calf of Bristol, while also pointing out yards and points are hardly everything and our defense has been the hero this year just as much as Denver's offense has(although credit in the media does't always agree) I decided to drop by again and congratulate John Fox and The Golden Calf of Bristol on such a great effort against the New England Patriots. You guys must be doing something right.

Don't buy into the hype folks. The Golden Calf of Bristol may believe in a higher power, but it doesn't take a Denver fan to figure that although he may depend on it when the game is on the line and being a good leader, it takes more than that to be a great quarterback in the NFL. It takes the kind of qualities and skill set The Golden Calf of Bristol seems to have plenty of.

Any smart football fan that knows what it takes to be an successful quarterback can recognize supreme discipline at the position and someone who is mostly concerned with protecting the ball above else. After all, in my opinion the greatest records Tom Brady ever broke outside of those that happened in a Super Bowl, were those in the interceptions and incompletions categories, not points nor yards. Outside of leadership it's probably the key aspect that helped quarterbacks achieved the more meaningful records in this league.

Looking into The Golden Calf of Bristol's number I am absolutely AMAZED at the amount of discipline he has and the determination not to throw an interception. He still currently maintains the highest interception efficiency in the league at 1 per 110, as I have been keeping up with it, although he did fumble the ball yesterday, and those can hurt you just as much as any other turnover. Coach John Fox believed in this very much when he was in Carolina, so do I, and it still remains one of the main reasons, if not the primary reasons teams win and lose football games. Efficiency is key and efficient offenses that execute and don't turn over the ball is primarily the difference maker in this league filled with talent.

I doubt even God himself can overcome 3 turnovers against a team as disciplined as the Patriots and I hope fans understand this. With The Golden Calf of Bristol's leadership, knowing what to say and when to say, along with his discipline and current interception efficiency, I must say, I believe Denver really has something special and it's not a higher power. You have a great staff and a great athlete who can execute at the highest level. It can sometimes hurt you to be a bit too conservative, which sometimes may have been my personal complaint with John Fox, but I am convinced this is the correct way to play your first year as a starting QB and gradually open up as a you get more experience, rather than how we are doing it in Carolina with Cam Newton.

I hope our new rookie and staff learns this trick as well, but in the mean time I'm going to continue enjoying John's progress in Denver and keeping an eye on The Golden Calf of Bristol's development as well as other excellent football players in this league moving into the playoffs while we figure out how to become consistent in Charlotte.

Don't stop believing in Fox like some of us may have in the past. Not all things in football are easily apparent, and I hope Broncos fans are learning that from the start.

Good luck in the playoffs race. I wish you guys the best.

PS: That title was meant to say congratule. Oh and congratulations coach Fox! I am very happy that you have found continued success and wish you the best in the future except if you ever face our team of course! Some of us have not forgotten the most memorable seasons in Panthers history and what you have accomplished.

Holy poo how did I miss this?? I feel sorry for PFFL. He even tried to build his own forum at pantherstalk.com so he could create these long winded posts and have everyone tell him how great he was but I went over there the other day to see what was up and it was already shut down.
