Right now my favorites are Cam, Shockey, Stewart and Olsen but adding in older guys I'd say Jake, Minter, Mills, Rod Smart, Jenkins, White, Greene, Beuerlein, Biakabutuka and a couple others I surely forgot.

Jake. Not just because of his QB abilities but because of the human being that he is. Just a great dude and a leader.

Cam has a chance to unseat him though. A Lombardi trophy would likely do it :D

Current favorite player is still Smitty. Favorite all time though will always be Sam Mills.

Steve Smith is my first experience of what it's like to cheer for a "God-mode" player. A guy who does things to make other teams look completely useless. For that, he will always be my favorite player, and no one will unseat him.

There will come a time, sooner rather than later unfortunately, where Cam will be playing and Smitty won't. If he's still a Panther when that day comes, Cam will be my favorite active player.

Sam Mills is still #1 after all these years for me. Cam has grown on me a lot and I am on the wagon since week 1. Jake wil always be in my heart for being above all, a team player. Smitty, DeAngelo, Stewart, Wesley Walls, Kasay, Beason, Thomas Davis, Mike Minter, Mike Rucker, Peppers are also favorites...I have too many...to just name one.

I will say this. I was kind of hoping Sherrod Martin would become my favorite panther on defense coming into the season. I thought he would become an established ball hawking, sure tackling safety. Talk about a big disappointment there.:D

2003 through end-of-regular-season-2008 Jake is still my favorite of all time. Smitty is my current favorite. With time, though, Cam will become my favorite. Cam isn't even 89's favorite QB yet!
