very happy with this game. beat a very good team with the best defense in the league. They can't use any excuse about Their 3rd string QB starting because he has won the previous games and we were using our 4th and 5th string defensive guys

That would have felt better if Schaub was the QB, but I'll take any win. They had the #1 defense coming in and they looked like one of the worst the Panthers have played honestly.

They were wrong. When we beat Washington earlier in the year they were 3-2.

For what it's worth, I was listening to the game on Sirius radio and it was the Texans radio broadcast. During the game-sealing final Panther's drive, one of the announcers asked if they had ever seen anything like this kid (Newton). The other announcer said Newton would be "frightening" once he gets it figured out, being that he is only a rookie. Damn straight.
