"Santa" Christmas question..

My wife and I have had this argument for years. I honestly think its a North-South thing. I'm from NY and all gifts were wrapped and under the tree. She's from Memphis and Santa gifts were unwrapped. I won out and all gifts are now wrapped, although the first few years I wrapped all the Santa gifts because she refused.

As a follow up I did compromise and stocking gifts are unwrapped.

Yeah, if it came from Santa in our house, it wasn't wrapped. Which I loved, because I hated unwrapping crap.

Nothing from Santa was ever wrapped when I was growing up - gifts from parents were. My husband's family wrapped their Santa gifts, so when we had kids, I went with that. After wrapping gifts for 21 freaking years, I regret that decision every single Christmas.

(PS - make sure to fill out the proper paperwork with Santa so he'll know which way you decide)

My santa gifts were never wrapped, my mom would lay them on the couch.

This is exactly what we did....every year til I moved out. My mom said that first inital looks of surprise from me and my sister seeing everything on the couch made her day
