good....i think.

i hope.

gahhh...i'm so nervous.

here's hoping the dude locks down whoever he covers...and there is no communication issues....and he doesn't get hurt....and he shows that we are set at CB so we have less needs next year.

I still want Claiborne. Him, Gamble, and Hogan would be a top 5 corner group and wants Gamble is retired or gone we would be set for a long time.

This makes me wonder if him being inactive was actually him not being 100% or him just not looking better than Stanford, Butler, or Munny.

Valid question... I do hope he has looked at least better than Stanford though.

Still glad we're getting a chance to see what Hogan can do these last 3 games.

Butler and Munnerlyn are not bad #3 or #4 CB's, but Gamble is the only CB the Panthers have who has played like an unquestioned starter.

It would be great if Hogan could be the #2 CB.

However, the struggles on defense are certainly not just on the DB's. Every secondary looks worse or better depending on the pass rush.

Butler in particular has played farly well in my opinion though. Did get beat on the deep ball once by Julio Jones, but he had him man-to-man most of the day.

Think his coverage has been better than Munnerlyn, who has looked lost at times, and Rivera hinted the miscommunication between him and Butler on one play was Munnerlyn's fault.

Still, though, people saying we should cut Munnerlyn are ill-informed as he is still a great value and talent for being a 7th round pick. Great ST player, better returner than Edwards IMO, and decent #3 or #4 CB.

Just being forced into a tough spot this year starting.
