Barnes will be a spot up 3 point shooter off the bench at best. That will be his role if he is on a championship team. Honestly, I wouldn't spend a top 5 pick on him. Go with the guys with high potential first.

First time watching Drummond in something other than youtube vids, and he looks awkward/uncoordinated.

Im a huge Carolina fan so Ive watched Harrison play alot. Barnes just cant dribble and has a slow 1st step. He can hardly beat college defenders off the dribble, let alone NBA guys. Usually you see him take a dribble or two laterally or backwards then pull up. I'd be all for taking him #2 or lower but #1 over Davis IDK.

Barnes will be a better pro than college player. Therefore, his dribbling *WILL* improve. It's not like dribbling is like learning Chinese.

They might as well start selling Harrison Barnes Bobcat jerseys already.

Barnes, AT WORST, after being the #1 player as a wing player coming out of High School, and basically just coasting through college, in the NBA, AT WORST, he'll be Corey Maggette, but at best he could be a tier below the otherworldly status of James, Wade, Bryant, and Durant. Probably where Brandon Roy would've been if he could've stayed healthy. His jump shot is as good as Carmelo Anthony's, and no he's not a great athlete, but he has his share of explosive dunks occasionally, which means he's probably a better athlete than he shows. Dribbling skills can be developed. His fadaway jump shot is Jordanesque.

Anthony Davis, I don't know who you can really compare him to. He's not Dwight Howard, but he's also not Dirk either, and he's definitely not Kevin Durant. Maybe he's closer to Kevin Love, but he doesn't have the beef, and he probably never will. He can shoot it deep, but that won't be where he lives in the league. He could be as good as people hope, or could end up being Kwame Brown at the next level. You never know with big guys.

Better "gamble" is Davis, but odds are Harrison Barnes will have a better pro career than Davis.

I'm not so sure that his dribbling will change but the nba is a different game. He has great IQ, a NBA body, and can make his own shots. I wouldn't want to spend a top 5 pick on him but I think he will be good.

He may look slow against super quick 6-2 shooting guards... Most NBA guards are bigger and more cerebral, it takes intelligence and length to guard them.

As for Davis, he's like no one I've seen. He's like a big version of Magic. I do want him

Anthony Davis, Harrison Barnes, and Jared Sullinger.

Any one of those three will be great pick ups for the Bobcats.

I will say this about Harrison Barnes. Out of those top three he is the one that has the most potential to become a big time elite player. He will get better in the pros, is a good kid, and has a great work ethic.

Anthony Davis will be a good one, I am just worried he is the shiny new toy of the year. Every year the media comes out with the hyperbole when it comes to freshmen and they can get buried in the hype.

Sullinger may not become an elite superstar, but he is a lock for 15 and 9 every year. We have never had a true low post scorer.

With Biyombo and Mullens coming along like they are Barnes may be a real possibility at 2 or 3.

The reason I say two or three is that I just don't believe the balls will bounce the Bobcats way in the lottery. If this was the NFL we'd be a lock.

I hate the NBA lottery. But if we dont get Davis I would be glad with Barnes. I saw Robinson from Kansas last night and liked what I saw. He looks like he could be a solid starter in the league.

I like T Rob as well. I haven't seen enough of him to know if he can play the SF position. If so, I'd consider him as well.

Young is getting great position on Davis and using his strength to his advantage. Patric is getting the ball so low that Davis can't do much. Davis will have to bulk up a bit.

Watched UF and UK again, prospects everywhere.

What an amazing semi-final game in the SEC tourney. I basically considered this the final.

Thought Davis, Lamb, Young, and Beal all played well. Jones brought the energy for the Cats that propelled them. But Terrence was so bad offensively. He was doing his normal shtick where he just tries to throw up shots over people, this time it didn't fall.

Anthony Davis Shot the ball outside better. It's funny so many people compare him to Camby because he threw a couple alley oops in the manner Camby throws it to Aldridge so often. Great athlete, we can only hope the ping pong balls go our way...probably won't.

Doron Lamb Quietly had himself a ball game. Did much better than his last outing vs UF. Shot the ball well. We could always use shooters, but won't have a chance to get him

Patric Young Faded towards the end but he looked really good in the post vs Davis. Used his muscular frame to get great position. He then used his wide body to do jump hooks over him.

Bradley Beal Shot the ball really well, especially early. Also has the ability to drive and get to the basket. I think one time even over Davis. Also a great rebounder for his size. Might have been his best game this year.

Teague and Murphy also had good games.
