I kinda like the idea of trading with the Hornets and scooping up Jared Sullinger and Brad Beal. Our rebounding and back to the basket scoring is an atrocity...enter Sullinger. Our outside shooting and scoring is practically non-existent...enter Beal. Thoughts?

The problem is I doubt the Hornets would want this fantasy idea... I'm sure they would also like to take 2 high potential player over 1.

Anthony Davis reminds me of Tim Duncan to tell you the truth. Great shot blocker, really fluid athleticism, capable outside shooter, and can put it on the deck enough to get to the rim.

Don't think you can go wrong with him first overall. I've seen Drummond compared to Howard and I think that there are some similarities but the reason Howard is great is he's 7'0280...so Drumming would need to put on 60lbs of muscle. Bother are gonna be good but I think Kevin Durant reminded us you don't pass on 6'10" 19 year olds with any ability to use guard skills. So I say Davis.

Right now Drummond is listed on Uconn's athletic website as 6'10 270, while Howard is listed on the Magic's website as 6'11 265. Though I do think that Howard's weight is more muscle based, I think he is closer to Howard than Davis is to Duncan. I wouldn't be upset with either. I have seen comparisons of Davis, if he can develop a jump shot, to Chris Bosh.

I would love that kind of deal. Beal would be nice, and there could be guys like Quincy Miller and Jeremy Lamb available in the late lottery

UF and Kentucky play at 7 pm tonight, ESPN. Lots of prospects on hand.

UF: SG Bradley Beal, C Patric Young

UK: PF Anthony Davis, SG Doron Lamb, SF Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, SF Terrence Jones.

Won't get to watch much of it as I have basketball practice to coach.

I will be going back and forth between that and the Bobcats game.

Rivers just hit a game winning 3 for Duke. UNC FT shooting down the stretch killed them. Rivers is a bit overrated for me because I don't think he has a true position. Finished with 29.

Barnes finished with 25 and he could have done a bit better from the FT line.

Yeah but Rivers excels best when he has the ball in his hand and you saw that from his days at Winter Park. Off the ball he isn't the greatest.

Yeah, but Doc says that him going to Duke is the best thing thats ever happened for his game because it is teaching him to play defense and work without the basketball. Those things will come with proper teaching.

I am sure it does. But from what I have seen from him, while he is a SG, he plays better with the ball in his hands. It kind of devalues your PG on the court because that's where PGs excel, with the ball in their hands. They like to get others involved but can't do so without the ball. Not saying Rivers can't develop off ball skills but just my observations. He's got a shot on him just needs to work on the other things to make him a more well rounded player. I just hope people do overreact to one game and one game winning shot, that's all.

I wonder if anyone would ever consider him at the PG position. He is great creating with the ball which would open passing lanes. He seems like a pretty bright kid. Also, he is listed at 6 ft 5, but I think he is more 6 ft 4.
