* 2012 NBA Draft Prospects *

When there's only one ALLEGED "can't miss" prospect, the draft then becomes all about who should be taken 2nd, and whether anyone's even worth picking second. That's something you won't know FOR SURE until after all of the pre-Draft happenings.

Right now no.2 should be MKG no matters what. He's the safest and best prospect behind AD.

Drummond could've been the sure consensus no.2 player in this draft if he wasn't so inconsistent at UCONN last season. His size is too much to like but his play and attitude have left him wondering where he'll be drafted. He could be the second player drafted or may even fall out the top 5.

No one is PICKING RIGHT NOW so it doesn't matter.

Combine measurements have come out- http://t.co/Y2R6YCGz

Andre Drummond was obviously impressive- 6'10" without shoes and a 7'6" wingspan. 279 lbs

Robinson was a little disappointing- hair under 6'8" w/o shoes and 7'3" wingspan- same height as Sullinger

MKG was 6'6" with a 7' wingspan

Beal was a little over 6'3"

No huge surprises

No surprise those are the only ones you mentioned, either. If the Bobcats plan to draft MKG or Beal, or Drummond, they may as well trade the pick.

Drummond has the potential to be a Howard like player. I don't see as much downside to him as others do, he still has a pretty good defensive game. So at the very least you getting a good defender with the pick.

I wanted Robinson but I think he is too small to play PF in the NBA.:(

I like MKG but he has absolutely no outside game. :(

At this point I'd take Beal, Barnes or possibly Drummond for his upside.

If MKG can show he has an outside game in the workouts then he may be the best pick.

You're right, someone should let Kevin Love, David Lee, Elton Brand, Paul Milsap, Luis Scola, Josh Smith, Antawn Jamison, Carlos Boozer, Brandon Bass, Dejuan Blair, and Kenneth Faried know that they are too short to play PF in the NBA

I'm pretty sure all those guys besides Blair are taller than Robinson.

and I haven't even seen Kenneth Faried play in the NBA.
