I was on the Drummond train, but this team needs an instant impact.

Which Davis fits the mold to a T. He'll instantly come in and make this team better in certain areas. With a solid offseason and the return of the core of Walker, Hendo, Williams, White, and Bismack we should be good to go next year.

As long as we don't slip to 4 and have to choose between Beal, Barnes, and Drummond, the Bobcats will still have a promising future.

- Davis will take us to another level immediately and the Bobcats would be one of the most feared shot blocking teams in the entire NBA for years to come alongside Biyombo and Byron Mullens.

- Kidd-Gilchrist would have some more developing to do, but would be a major upgrade and potential all-star.

- Thomas Robinson would be an ideal fit and great consolation prize for the Bobcats if we lose the Anthony Davis sweepstakes.

Who are some good point guards/forwards in the later first round?

Not a lot of PGs in this draft, though Taylor from Kansas might be there.

As for forwards, Draymon Green and Royce White are both really talented, but have some issues (both are undersized PFs, White had some legal troubles). They are great passers for their size, so while they may not be starters in the NBA I think both could contribute off the bench early in their careers.

Just realized the Lakers don't have first rounder. Thanks for the info though.

I honestly think Bradley Beal is the second best player in the draft, let's be real Harrison Barnes is only an option if we trade back.

Beal is the best shooter in the draft IMO. As a Cavs fan, I'd like to get him or MKG if we don't some how win the lottery. MGK has more potential, but Beal is more polished at this point. As for Barnes, he should be a solid player but not the difference maker you want that high.

When there's only one ALLEGED "can't miss" prospect, the draft then becomes all about who should be taken 2nd, and whether anyone's even worth picking second. That's something you won't know FOR SURE until after all of the pre-Draft happenings.
