James is a very solid LB. I think some fans might be overrating him since every other LB we have playing is garbage.

He did really well last year too when playing beside Beason.

I like James, but he is a liability in pass coverage.

I feel your pain, I really do. I too wish our LBs had better coverage skills. Not sure whether it is the scheme, or just a lack of talent in that specific area.

However, most LBs are a liability in pass coverage. I believe that is why teams try and get mismatches on them.

Just my thought on this here subject. And keep up the good work.

only time i really remember him being burned was by jacquizz rodgers last week. he was out of position and it was pretty much the perfect playcall. i think he's done a pretty good job in coverage this year, he's batted down tons of passes (could of picked em off, but oh well)

davis won't be 100% ever again. i hope this isn't the case for beason

I am saying that as far as linebackers go, he is below average in pass coverage. I was not saying I wish he could cover like a safety.

Virginia Techs linebackers not at the whip position are never that good in coverage.. Same goes for Anderson
