I can't believe NFLN gave up the Thanksgiving game, that was the one game to be able to hold over TWC....FML.

Honestly, when I first discovered the NFLN I thought it was suppose to be the mature answer to ESPN. Little did I know it was the dumping ground for washed up ex-NFL players, GMs and coaches. I swear the constant plugging related to the network is so annoying.

I seriously thought they were pathetic when they would try to interject Cam's name, to the dismay of Mike Mayock, Lombardi, Charlie and that other guy, into every story or sentence but they have jumped the shark with The Golden Calf of Bristol. We won't even talk about their Thursday Night football games. It's like watching college football game.

TWC isn't making plenty of money?

I find that difficult to believe.

Why should the NFL cave to TWC demands?

The nfl wants everyone with basic cable or sat., to have nfln as part of the basic package.

Twc wants to charge the customers more for their customers to see what other cable viewers see as part as their basic deal.

TWC needs to get over it, and step up....stop screwing it's customers.

I'm glad i'm not a subbscriber to TWC.

My cousin is in upper level management at TWC, here in Cincinnati. They are now training their employees, to tell current/potential customers that want NFL Sunday Ticket to buy a PS3.

TWC is not going to have either the NFLN or Sunday Ticket, anytime soon.

Oh they're both to blame... they're both being greedy asshole corporations. There's lots of money to be made, but both groups wants the most of it... typical.

Could mean something else, that nfl network isn't making as much money with ratings with that game and have to move else where

Since NBC is going up from 600M to 950M/yr I'm guessing it was an add-on to justify a little of that hike. More NBC stuff from MMQB

NBC got the Thanksgiving night game, beginning in 2012, taking it from NFL Network. NBC got one of its Wild Card games changed to a divisional game, beginning in the 2014 postseason. NBC got the ability to add a two-hour pregame show on its new NBC Sports Network in 2014. And this under-the-radar add-on, which could come in handy. In the new contract, NBC will not only have the ability to flex-schedule games in Weeks 10 through 15. In Weeks 5 through 9, NBC will be able to flex out of a bad game; this won't be an unlimited opportunity, I'm told, and it won't be like the regular flex scheduling, when a good game can be flexed for a great one. Call this the Peyton Manning Injury Clause. In Week 7 this year, NBC was stuck with the Saints against the 0-6 Colts, and no one cared. In the future, the league will erase a game like that one and sub something more palatable.
