I didn't permaban you in the past. How would I know. Usually if you get permabanned it is permanent.
not here in the huddle.

pffl has shown that getting hit with the ban hammer in the huddle isn't something to take seriously because the huddle can't/won't enforce it.

i'd apologize for contributing to a hijacking if this thread was worth a crap anymore.

I have no problem with The Golden Calf of Bristol honestly.

Just a problem with you.

And us mods are stuck with not being able to permaban

I still say a 50 question test before you can register would solve this. Or at least make the Trolls smarter. Its a win/win.

He was the second leading rusher, leader in rushing TDs, and 4th leading contributor of total offense to that team. If that's not a huge part, I don't know what is.

The facts support that claim. If you have any other evidence, please present it.

The Golden Calf of Bristol was a gadget RB in 2006. That isn't a huge part. A HUGE part is what The Golden Calf of Bristol was to the NC he won as the starting QB. The Golden Calf of Bristol as a RB with 400 yards on the ground.....there were 3 players with 400+ rushing yards on that team. Outside of his gadget plays he wasn't anything huge.

facts don't support your claim. with the rushers they had in 06.....losing your gadget play RB isn't going to cripple your chance for the NC. The Golden Calf of Bristol was a HUGE part of the next NC. He wasn't replaceable.

You stated one fact, that 3 players had 400+ rushing yards, which is true. The Golden Calf of Bristol happened to be second on the team with almost 500. He led the team in rushing TDs and was second on the team in Total TDs. No big deal right?

If The Golden Calf of Bristol didn't play a huge part, who did? Only Chris Leak?

There aren't a lot of HUGE parts on any team. Lots of small parts. The Golden Calf of Bristol was a small part in 2006. Wynn/Hester could of stepped of taken his 2006 reps if he had gotten hurt. All you lose is the quirky white kid throwing jump passes in 2006. FL was good enough to of kept on rolling w/o him in 2006.

The Golden Calf of Bristol was a HUGE part of the next NC. Cam was a HUGE part of his NC. The Golden Calf of Bristol wasn't a HUGE part of the 2006. Factually speaking, you are just talking about of your butt.

Facts say The Golden Calf of Bristol was a huge part. Your assumption is that role could have been filled by others, but the facts are that it wasn't.

Your hate is blinding you.

Is Steve Smith a huge part of our team this year?

No. Again, there aren't many players that qualify as HUGE parts in football. Mainly small parts. The Golden Calf of Bristol was a HUGE apart of the 2nd NC. He was not a HUGE part of the 2006 one. He was a part....a part they could of worked around if he was hurt.

Yes, Smitty is a HUGE part.....b/c unlike The Golden Calf of Bristol in his first NC....there are no pieces you can put togehter to even come close to making up for what he brings to the offense.

My hate is blinding me? I don't hate any player being discussed. The Golden Calf of Bristol is arguably the greatest college football player of alltime. I'd make the argument.......and I wouldn't use 2006.

You do not know what facts are.

i know what they are, you keep saying and laughing at how Cam Newton wouldnt and did not do this in college, when he would've if he had a loser like Leak ahead of him. it's fact and the fact is that the only reason The Golden Calf of Bristol as a part of that 2006 National title game was that he was the perfect fit for Meyer's system, same with Cam too, BUT Cam was there when The Golden Calf of Bristol was there, if the roles were reversed i PROMISE you that it's opposite and Newton has all those rushing yards. i dont understand how you can love The Golden Calf of Bristol and think he's so great, yet dont like Newton. i wasnt a fan of Newton AT FIRST, but i have changed my views due to his play on the field and i can also promise this. if we had The Golden Calf of Bristol we would have only won 2 or 3 games and the losses would be blowouts. The Golden Calf of Bristol (as much as i love him and i do love him, in fact i want him to be BETTER than Cam) isnt better than Cam as a passer, his mechanics need major work and there's a reason why most of his wins are questioned.

Its hard for me to compare them together. But I didnt like that one lady calling our team a bunch of thugs, and making fun of our play 60 commericals. I am starting to hate The Golden Calf of Bristol based on what I am hearing from fans. They have won some games, for sure, but the 2 games I've watched, their defense and special teams made the plays they needed. I think if you look at the TD drives of 80+ yards, the fact that we went from 2nd worst to 4th best Offense in the league, and the fact that he has a record for rushing touchdowns.... speaks for itself. They are two different quarterbacks, but I would enjoy seeing The Golden Calf of Bristol be a QB with our defense (who never makes plays) and see how we hang with teams. We'd be getting blown out by 14 or more points per game easy. And guess what, if we hold teams to 10 every game, we win by an average of 14 points per game? So where is the comparison? It cant happen. I'll stick with my guy and his superman dance, his gum chewing and smile, I'll choose Cam Newton. Tim, good luck.

Fact:

1. something that actually exists; reality; truth:

2. something known to exist or to have happened:

Explain to me how the bolded is fact. You are really struggling here.

I don't love The Golden Calf of Bristol and I don't not like Newton. They aren't mutually exclusive. The Golden Calf of Bristol is doing great things and deserves recognition.

Game recognize game.
