But I'm curious, why isn't anyone comparing Tim to Andy Dalton, Ponder, or Blaine Gabbert? Heck, why are they not comparing Tim to the first year QBs?

Also, Stevie is right. The Broncos team is way more balanced than the Panthers. They have the options available to get the job done and get into the opposing teams' heads. The Panthers dont. How many times during Sunday's game did The Golden Calf of Bristol just have advance the ball far enough to give their kicker a good chance to seal the deal? And how many times did the kicker deliver?

Once a team figure out that the Panthers' strenght is only really their offense led by a rookie QB, game over.

Last year the #1 and #2 defense in PPG were in the superbowl.

The #10 and #12 offenses in PPG were in the superbowl.

That #10 offense doesn't win without a TD from the #1 defense.

This is EsPN's fault as usual. They're always trying to create bandwagons. What's funny is they think Fox has something to do with his success. LOL. Wasn't he the third string QB in preseason? Anyways the Donkey's haven't beaten anyone either. Dolphins and Vikings? I could see them beating Brady b/c of that defense. Of course then ESPN will be on the Super Bowl Donkey bandwagon.

Why do you think Cam will develop faster than The Golden Calf of Bristol

The Golden Calf of Bristol is putting one TD on the board, maybe 2. Cam is personally contributing to scoring 40 and 50 points and staying in the game. He himself is staying in the game, not his Defense. To me, that seems like Cam will only develop from there and continue to put up 300-400 yard games while The Golden Calf of Bristol struggles to score a last minute TD b/c "God favors him over other players". The only reason the Broncos are still in the game by the 4th quarter (which must be a god awful no pun intended boring game btw), is because their defense is keeping the team from scoring points. That is the only way The Golden Calf of Bristol has the ability to score late in the game.

When it comes down to it in the playoffs, you can't always rely on the D to carry the game for you. Yeah, maybe they will. But when the D fails and you are down 27 points going into the half, how are you going to win? Have your defense get a bunch of pic 6s? In my dreams. Yeah, mine. IMO, that's what will happen with The Golden Calf of Bristol. Sure, he might get better, but lets say he starts to throw more. More passes=more Interceptions. Its a passing league these days, you have got to have the tools to stay in the game when you are down.

I think our team will be better than theirs mainly because of coaching. John Fox is a get ahead early and hope our Defense can pull it out kind of guy. Rivera has made it known he has come here to win a championship. It no longer "is what it is" and we don't want to just win, we want to stomp on their throats. That determination tells me that Rivera wants it much more than Fox does.

There are no facts to support it, its something that will happen in the future. I could be wrong, that could very easily be proven in the next 2 years and The Golden Calf of Bristol could explode into an elite QB, but that's just the way I see it.

I can't imagine any rational person would take The Golden Calf of Bristol over Newton. The Golden Calf of Bristol functions well in the offense that they designed for him, and he doesn't turn it over much. Cam is more talented by far though.
