He's not knocked for it, Cam isn't knocked for anything. It was just interesting that this team as a whole has yet to show the ability to beat a team with their starting QB. It's more a knock on the defense and a true testament to how far they need to go next year.

yeah sorry didn't notice you said 36 yards, was thinking we were still talking about Minnesota. TBH, I don't know how that game ends if Mare makes that FG. But I don't know that our defense holds either way. I like to pretend it does so I can blame it all on Mare, but...

I don't blame Cam for that loss alone but his poor play in the 3rd quarter (hell, he's been awful in the 3rd quarter all year long) has hurt us... plus our inability to finish in the 4th.. meh... He was one of many factors in that game that did lead to us falling apart.

true Mav, but like you wrote, hard to blame that on Cam and if you look at both teams in that game, The Golden Calf of Bristol's kicker MADE his game tying field goal and then his defense had a Interception that led to a Game winning field goal. Cam didnt have that which is why they lost, i do agree though The Golden Calf of Bristol's BEST game was actually that one!!

Problem with that statement is that he will be playing against the Patriots' defense. Also, the offense the Broncos are running now is not the same as it was against the Lions.

i know the patroits defense isnt great (mainly at corner/safety), but they do have a decent pass rusher in Andre Carter and the offense is better than Detroit's is. i expect The Golden Calf of Bristol to lose, 31 to 27, The Golden Calf of Bristol time will come, but then Brady time will come.

PS: The Golden Calf of Bristol plays Brady this week. If The Golden Calf of Bristol outplays Brady, the poo will hit the fan. But if he does beat them, he deserves credit for this one win.

if he doest beat Brady, i will agree that he's a good quaterback, i am going to The Golden Calf of Bristol and hope he wins, but i think that offense is too much for The Golden Calf of Bristol.

I'm not insecure at all, I think comparing The Golden Calf of Bristol to Cam is ridiculous... Cam even as a rookie is a FAR superior QB.

yep and i agree 100% here, they need a defense, their corners are suspect, i am not a fan of the DTs at all, plus injuries hurt the linebackers, but the real issues to me coming into the year was the DTs, that was why people thought at one point we should get Nick Fairley.

well, The Golden Calf of Bristol's not played backup QBs the whole time he started, i mean, Rivers, Palmer, Cassel arent backups, neither is Sanchez or Ponder. now the issue is that Rivers has had a down year, Palmer struggles, Cassel has been inconsistant and Sanchez throws picks at wrong times. in other words they arent the patroits or packers on offense.

I'm not even sure you can accurately compare the two in a fair way outside of QB mechanics.

The offenses these two teams run are completely different. These guys are being asked to do different things.

I don't think The Golden Calf of Bristol could operate effectively in our scheme.... most of what Smitty gives you would be lost on The Golden Calf of Bristol, there's a reason they traded Lloyd the minute The Golden Calf of Bristol was named the starter.
