So what is Denver and The Golden Calf of Bristol's efficiency rating? Not just the miracle 4th quarter heroics.

they are numbers on a page. numbers always have and always will lie.

again, if he is completing 30 something % of his passes, they can't complete a 3rd down, and can't score points.....for 55 minutes of a 60 minute game....they are not a good nor efficient offense.

The Golden Calf of Bristol's 4th quarter heroics have a lot to do with teams flat out shooting themselves in the foot and losing games. Again, more games are lost than won.....and there is reason Fox plays not to lose.

He had mental reps. Limited practice reps (per your assumption). He has the same coordinator. Cam walked out of the draft room and into a lockout shortened mini-camp. But hey, keep dismissing those facts all you want. Hypothetical: If The Golden Calf of Bristol was drafted #1 by us this year (if Cam did not exist), what is our record?

Same coordinator, completely different systems.

I recognize all those facts. Cam has had less NFL meetings, film, etc but I also think it's very important for players to get on the field and compete in NFL games. Have a full week of preparation, have a game plan, and execute, get into that rhythm.

So The Golden Calf of Bristol has been in the league a year longer, Cam has more starts. It just depends on how valuable you think those few snaps in practice are compared to being in the game.

So much fiction and denial in this post.

Having a year under your belt in the NFL, whether you play or not, is HUGE. Ask any NFL player. The system you mentioned is different because The Golden Calf of Bristol forced the coordinators hand. He wasn't a good enough QB to run the preferred offense, so they scraped it for this sandlot style stuff they are doing now. The Golden Calf of Bristol is below average in the pocket and struggles to make reads while in the pocket. I'm willing to bet that most of his completions are made outside of the pocket. Cam can make the reads in the pocket and on the run.

Can somebody answer this simple "what if" questions for me?

If The Golden Calf of Bristol was drafted #1 by us this year (if Cam did not exist), what is our record going into Houston this weekend?

We might have beaten Jacksonville because that is the type of game he wins. But I doubt we beat Indy, Tampa, or Washington.

No, people who mis-use numbers lie. Numbers never lie.

And that's not his efficiency. His efficiency is NFL's QB passer efficiency rating. It includes all of what you are talking bout. All 4 quarters. You are selectively ONLY picking out the parts you want to argue.

What he doesn't do in the other 3 quarters which is equally important is he never throws a damn interception!

That tends to matter to people outside the Cam Newton fan base.

So you wanna know what would the guy with 100% 4th quarter comeback success rate can do for a team that's 1 for 9 in 4th quarter comebacks?

Maybe not 13-3 but 10-4?

No, numbers do and often lie. If you don't know that at this point......you got a lot to learn.

There is not enough production and solid play The Golden Calf of Bristol can put together in 5 minutes to make up for the 55 minutes of looking like a high school kid. Stats lie. What do you think the NFC QB pass efficiency is suppose to be suggesting? It is a lie. He is not an efficient QB nor is the Bronco offense.

Stats generally don't lie. Just that some people don't understand them or what they are talking about because they admittedly rush and make consistent errors.

They are also the ones that constantly tell you they are smarter than you yet have below average reading comprehension and don't understand basic math. Let alone logic.
