The draft talk will be about as interesting as I can remember it.

Kicking game is all to hell

Defense lacks depth but some of that depth actually started a lot of the year

We actually have a QB that everyone loves (that has any sense anyway)

3-4, 4-3 ??

We have all our pics and some possible trade bait

FA will happen before the draft this year (like most but unlike last)

played really well for the most part but will still get some high picks setting up big jump

any more reasons?

Wow dude. It's not too early to talk about the draft. It's the last quarter of the season and we have needs (like any team). The draft is one way of fixing those problems. The fact that it happens in April doesn't mean too much. If its too far away then when is it ok to talk about it? Then you go on to give your breakdown of the draft after you demeaned such a thing.

If you were talking to me since I am not usually referred to as wow dude (not since the 70s anyway), my point was it is certainly too early to talk specific players as compared to positions of need. Even then we are trying out new guys at a number of positions to decide who we have and how they will fit in next year. Once that evaluation is done, then we can at least look at our positions of need. Once early March is here, we will have a better idea once free agency has begun, players have declared and we have seen the combine and the draft pundits have weighed in.

Need a playmaker. Being this early, hard to say who that could be.

But I would not be against taking a WR if that's the best position on the board when we make the first pick. CB, OLB, DT, whatever it is. Need an impact player.

The only positions I can think of that we are set is QB and RB. With as many needs as we have, there is a very good chance the best player available will fill one of those needs.
