I definitely felt that the team wasn't behind Caldwell the moment the hire was made. I also think he lost them when he benched his starters and lost the potential perfect season.

Caldwell only did what his owner wanted him to do which was deliver a #1 overall pick so they can get the next Joe Montana. If anyone should be fired it should be Polian who built a "team" around one man, losing Manning exposed how awful Polian is as a GM

I'm not saying that Caldwell is a good coach, but anyone who thinks that 0-16 is his fault is dumb. The colts want Luck, and they are doing what they have to do to get him.

As bad as that team is, it isnt as bad as the winless Lions were, and I am sure that the Colts could have won a game by now if they had wanted to.

They cant even allow themselves just 1 win this season, because the Rams are awful too, and they dont want the rams to even have a chance at the #1.

I'm pretty sure the colts were trying to win against us just a few weeks ago. Manning has been masking that team's flaws for years which includes his supporting cast, polians recent draft picks ( horrible) and as evidenced even further this year, coaching.
