I say what the hell, put the kid out there on Sunday and see what he can do... I don't care how he looks in practice, no way to simulate the pressure of a game. I bet Mare looks awesome in practice.

Wow, 3 years? They could've felt he was the better kicker in camp, but again, put too much money into Mare to admit their mistake early.

Heres the thing-- its low risk. And if hes good, hes 22 and we have a dependable kicker for a long time. If not, move on and address it in the offseason.

then again that was with a tee and not in a game atmosphere, but... clearly has a big leg on him. just need to see if he has accuracy down. i can't remember if he had any FGs in the preseason.

Hearing Panthers plan to keep Mare on the roster -- he signed a 4yr, $12mill deal in July. Not sure what plans are for Kunalic.
