I'm now with the fire Hurney train

Lmao, Hurney isn't going anywhere. He has total power here and is really good friends with JR. It's already been said that Hurney has been told he has a job as long as he wants to GM the Panthers.

As for the past personal decisions for RB's and so forth, did any think that those were fox type players and what fox asked for going into the draft???

Get over it, he's here for the long haul. He made the coaching decision, he has his hand in the cap and personal decisions as well. He also has a draft track record comparable to the best drafting GM's in the business.

he shouldve gotten The Golden Calf of Bristol....

With the first rounder that we didn't have last year? Or are you suggesting that we should have traded the #1 overall pick in the draft this year to get The Golden Calf of Bristol.

No wonder less and less people believe in you

He wouldn't know. He's a Colts fan.

James Anderson has bad knees? You sure you're not thinking of TD?

I think my mind changed the words on the screen to Davis in a desperate attempt to make sense out of whatever he was talking about.

CatMan72 triggered a natural defense mechanism against shitty posting.

Big contracts to Delhomme, Dwill, and Olindo.

The stubborn-ness to hold on to Peppers instead of trading him.

The trades for Armanti and Brown.

Our depth depleted because he continues to ignore depth.

This guy is continuing to push us backward instead of forward.

OH NO! HE MADE A FEW MISTAKES!! WAAAHHHHH

Man up. Each of his 1st round picks have turned out to be solid as well as most of his picks. Most GMs often make mistakes with 1st rounders. Johnson & Kalil were both 3rd rounders & are now kicking ass. Gettis was way late (6th or 7th rounder) & was going to be opposite Steve Smith until training camp.

Each no. Otah. Most maybe but then there are Clausen and Armanti. I understand off the field issues or even some injuries but cut your damn losses already Hurney!

I love how everyone talks about how good Hurney is in the 1st round.

The Panthers have been wildly inconsistent during Hurneys reign, and lately have been flat out terrible.

A change should have been made years ago.

Inconsistent? your talking the draft right or record?

Record wise, through the first 7 years of the Hurney - fox reign the Panthers ranked 7th in wins over that time period. As of now the Panthers are around 10th in wins over Hurneys reign as GM.

As for the draft, his numbers stack up with the best drafters in the NFL.

He's hit on every single first rounder he's drafted and gotten productivity from them. Jon Beason, Thomas Davis, Cam Newton, Julius Peppers, Jordan Gross, Chris Gamble, Johnathan Stewart, DeAngelo Williams and Jeff Otah. Only two of those are questionable and thats because of injuries, when those two guys play they are among the best at their position.

2nd round guys that produced for Carolina - Deshaun Foster, Richard Marshall, Ryan Kalil, Sherrod Martin

3rd round guys that produced for Carolina - Witherspoon, Manning Jr., James Anderson, Travelle Wharton, Charles Johnson, Charles Godfrey, Dan Connor, Brandon LaFell,

Late round picks 4th and further - Dante Wesley, Geoff Hangartner, Jeff King, Geoff Schwartz, Captain Munnerlyn, Greg Hardy, David Gettis.

Theres also a few players that didn't make it with the Panthers that are still playing in the NFL as well. That's 27 starters that have made an impact for the Panthers over the last 9 drafts, Most of the guys are still here as well. Compare that to most teams in the NFL and those draft results are going to stand up damn well.
