Cooking the turkey

this is fun, maybe ill just start making threads about food analogies more often, sure to be a hit.

regardless of the food/ingredient/etc etc, and without knowledge of cams statement before, the point still remains the same. someone has to put in the time and do the dirty work before the rewards are reaped.

maybe we should have talked about roasting a falcon instead.

Great and simple analogy from eric mangini on the scott van pelt show just now. He said everyone wants to eat the turkey but no one wants to put the time in to cook it (refering to todays football fans/analysts/players who want instant gratification).

In reference too us, we are cooking that turkey this this year. Next year the feast will begin.

Thought I would share, because some people tend to have crazy unrealistic expectations and such.

Trolls welcome to post below if they wish.

I agree.

It's not only about the time it takes to cook the turkey but the right energy and effort used to prepare it well.

IMHO, the Panthers seriously need to chance their attitude. You don't have to look very far to see how a little attitude chance can take a team far. The Detroit Lions, a team that started off real hot then allowed their attitude to get in their way and caused them to cool down quickly but seems to be back on track. The Texans, a team who is just as broken down defensively as the Panthers and is actually depending on a rookie QB they just started recently to help take the team to the play-off.

And finally the Broncos...What can we say about the Broncos? All the media praises may be going to The Golden Calf of Bristol but anyone who watches that team's games can see that every win is the contribution of 24 guys.

this is what i am most worried about for next year. I would in no way be angry if we start off hot next year. I fear we may finish strong this year, get our injured players back, draft well, bring in a couple defensive free agents, start off very strong like the lions this year and then unravel as they have to an extent. We will need a team a determined attitude through the whole year.
