Cooking the turkey

Great and simple analogy from eric mangini on the scott van pelt show just now. He said everyone wants to eat the turkey but no one wants to put the time in to cook it (refering to todays football fans/analysts/players who want instant gratification).

In reference too us, we are cooking that turkey this this year. Next year the feast will begin.

Thought I would share, because some people tend to have crazy unrealistic expectations and such.

Trolls welcome to post below if they wish.

Cooking a turkey is about the easiest cooking that can be done if one considers the MPE factor. Minutes Per Entree is a pretty good stat when comparing the difficulties associated with food preparation. Actual work crossed with MPE proves cooking a turkey is pretty easy as compared to say, most casseroles or other traditional meat dishes.

I'm not sure what Mangini was thinking when he used this analogy but he clearly is not familiar with MPE stats.
