Unbiased website. Newton vs Tebow

The reason I think Cam is a better quarterback comes down to passing ability; I think he is more sound mechanically and is more accurate at this point in his career, and he's been in the NFL for less time than The Golden Calf of Bristol. I do think that he still has to improve on decision making, but every rookie pretty much does.

Also TRD while that dude was exagerating about the 20 yarder thing, Mare is basically unreliable virtually anywhere on the field over 30 yards. Prater can knock down 50+s with no problem. That's not to say all our losses are on Mare but he was a major reason we lost yesterday. The Broncos do not win if Mare is their FG kicker.

I believe Cam is the better passer as well, but I can't support it with anything when taking everything into consideration. He does have a better throwing motion, but other than that, I can't justify it. I know it in my heart he's better, but I cannot back it up.

It's one of the weirdest things to me.

Watch them play. Cam is streaky with his accuracy, yes, but when he is on he is really on, and when he's off he misses high. The Golden Calf of Bristol has far fewer passes where he really is "on" at all.

It's the eyeball test for me. I've watched enough of both to feel fairly confident in making the judgment.

Newton's pro transition has gone pretty well. When I watch him play, he looks like every other solid pro quarterback I've watched over the past few decades. The Golden Calf of Bristol, who's actually been in the league longer, still looks like a college kid trying to learn the pro game.

The need to exaggerate to prove that Cam is better than The Golden Calf of Bristol shows how close they really are.

You think if we got 3 points in the second half we would have won?

i love The Golden Calf of Bristol I HATE HIS STUPID FANS lol i tell the truth about him and cam. cam is clearly better SKILLED QB while The Golden Calf of Bristol has a better team around him.

same thing with dan marino had record breaking stats and no superbowl.....but trent got his superbowl. you have to have a top defense to win a superbowl. alot of experts say marino is greatest qb of all time just didnt have defense. that does not mean trent is better, even some GOOD qbs with sb wins are not better skilled qbs than dan.

He might have been in the league longer but he's only 8-3 as a starter, 11 games. Cam is 4-9, 13 games.

The Golden Calf of Bristol had to learn 2 new offenses this offeseason while being 3rd on the depth chart with no OTAs or training camp to help him.

Valid. Still think long term Newton will be more successful.

You won't hear me knock The Golden Calf of Bristol. I wish him all the success in the world. I didn't want us to draft him (or Clausen, or Newton for that matter) but seeing how things played out, I think we wound up with the right guy for our future.

I think we did too, of the two, but I can't justify it, it's just my opinion. If Timothy can evolve just a little as a passer, I'm not sure anymore.
