The Golden Calf of Bristol reminds me of david garrard. but dg was better. anyways dg went 12-4 for jacksonville in 2007 he had 18 tds and only 3 INTS OH MY GOD HES GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he is now not playing football due to 3 terrible years. dude even got a playoff win against the steelers too, on the road. he was a one year WONDER. once defense got tape on him and figured him out,he could not win.

to be a great qb you have to throw the ball down the feild and take calculated risk. you have to read defense and audible out of plays. you have to be able to throw the deep ball with touch but also thread the needle in the middle of the feild. you have to progress through yourreads, not just one look and run like The Golden Calf of Bristol and david.

you guys remember the wildcat was so hot, where is it now???? the nfl adapts and learn your scheme and stops it, GIMMIICKS dont work!!!

steve young used to run first then throw, he had to reverse that in order to win a superbowl. michael vick even changed lol!!!!! and had his best season as QB EVER!!! he would still do good, he just cant stay healthy.

until The Golden Calf of Bristol gets this HE WILL NEVER WIN. RUNNNING QBS DO NOT WIN SUPER BOWLS. even trent dilfer was a way beter thrower lol.........

NOW a qb who can move around like aaron rodgers and someone like big ben break tackles is fine. BUT they are not looking to run first, they use their running to find wideouts DOWN THE FEILD!!! newton is more like thes guys and thats the reason he is better than The Golden Calf of Bristol.

and people always COMPLAIN ABOUT NEWTON looking sad!!!!!!! at least hes not CRYING!!! but NOOO you dont say nothing about the little pure angel The Golden Calf of Bristol, i mean everytime i say his name god gets mad at me, thats why from now own i call him "no name"!!!!!!!! lol

oh and steve mcnair could throw and mcnabb could throw. when they went to those superbowls they had stop running so much and became better passers........ even randall cunningham went to the afc championship with vikings one game from the super bowl, i sure dont remebr him running too much. YOU HAVE TO BECOME A BETTER PASSER The Golden Calf of Bristol. PEACE!!!

The original argument is that our offense was inefficient and that they make far too many mistakes in order for us to be a consistent winning team. They get a lot of yards and not enough points to go along with it. As far as what yards per point or efficiency is, it's not my argument. I don't know what to tell you. You have Google. Yard per point, efficiency is one and the same. You're basically arguing that a touchdown is not a score, or worth 6 points in football.

That still didn't answer my question. You say the offense is inefficient using YPP to support that. How does a stat that measures more than the offense tell that the offense is inefficient?

 Please point me to where I said a TD wasn't a score. You know you are wrong when you have to make poo up.

We're still discussing YPP?

It's nothing more then an easy way to handicap a game when you know nothing else about the teams playing each other.

It's nothing more than a NFL stat. Like touchdowns, points per game or yards. Except it's more important than those because it correlates to winning better.

And it's actually much much better at summarizing what already happened rather than predicting what's going to happen.

The reason it's one of the most popular NFL stats and is used as a handicap often is because it correlates better to winning than anything else, so if you're not a complete fuging idiot you're going to use that stat to predict wins and losses or power rank teams. That's how you make money. You use the more important stat that's more accurate while hoping to run into a dumbass who just doesn't get it and keeps using stats that really don't mean anything week in and week out, are never right and continues to lose their ass off because they don't know what they need to look for. And there are plenty of people that do that.
