Cam's nothing like The Golden Calf of Bristol. The Golden Calf of Bristol's actually been truly criticized, scrutinized and victimized and one of the biggest, true, underdogs in the league.

While Cam Newton is like a Black Tony Romo with the only twist being entering the league who is posed as an underdog, but in reality, anything but. He has more fame, money, and has gotten more undeserved credit than most overrated QB's by some. The only thing missing from Cam Newton is dating a hot super model.

He's a black pre-madona with a bunch of people trying to make him look like he's the Martin Luther King of the NFL. It's quite disgusting and an insult to black athletes who may have actually really had a tough time and been unfairly segregated or had to deal with prejudice because of race.

our defense FEEDS off momentum. When Mare missed that field goal, it deflated the entire team. The defense has huge swings in ability because: 1) a lot of youth, 2) tired players who get deflated easily.

Both of Cam's interceptions did matter in this game IMO because we never regained a lead after them... and while one of them didn't lead to points it did rob us of points and contribute to tiring out our defense more. But he's not the sole reason we lost by any measure.

Seriously, why does it seem the slightest mistake Cam makes gets all kinds of crazy ish read into it. He can't read defense. He can't do this..He can't do that...What gives with the constant fault finding of this kid? Does it make many of you feel more superior or something? You settle for The Golden Calf of Bristol giving his team five minutes of play and because the team wins it's okay with you folks. WOW... Yet you bitch endlessly about your rookie QB isn't playing hard for 60 minutes when he fugging carrying this lazy ass team.

Yeah, now the defense feeds off the offense momentum. Why don't your defense build up their own momentum and make it contagious?

Cam hasn't just made "slight" mistakes. He's made big ones. So has The Golden Calf of Bristol. Difference is, one comes through in the end. One tends to fug up right at the end.

And who said anything about wanting The Golden Calf of Bristol on this team? How about Cam Just plays like The Golden Calf of Bristol in the 4th quarter next year and if not get off the damn field. I think that would be the more logical thing. He didn't get paid to lose. He's not getting off that damn easy.

Our offense is in the top 10 in nearly every major category. What is the deal?? What more do you want? Turnovers happen. Shorter fields happen. Bad offensive halves happen. To every team. It isn''t something isolated to the Panthers.

The difference between us and the other teams is their defenses lift their teams up when those things happen and ours doesn't.

Even this game when Cam played terrible in the second half. We scored 23 points. We scored TDs on 3 of our 13 possessions (23%). Do you know where scoring on TDs on 23% of your drives places you when compared to the rest of the NFL?? 9th. Top 10. We also missed a field goal. We also got the ball into the red zone but didn't score because we needed a TD on our last drive. So on 5 of our 13 possessions we moved the ball to scoring position. That is good offense even on one of our worst days.

The whole premise behind this bullsh*t narrative is that our offense has to be the best offense in the NFL or else we don't win. And because of that it is clearly the offense's fault :rolleyes:

We have an offense that has a rookie QB that at times makes rookie mistakes. It happens. The unfortunate thing for this team is that we have a defense that makes it impossible to be successful without perfection from that rookie. That is unreasonable and unattainable.

If Cam had less turnovers would we have a better record?? Probably. But if he had an even average defense we would be in playoff contention.

You know what I want. The only thing that actually matters more than all those meaningless categories you keep talking about. Winning, efficiency, scoring, not turning over the ball. Simple. In that order

You know... the ones that have proven to matter repeatedly, over and over and over all season long. Every game. Every time we argued. The ones where when we rank good we win, when we don't we lose. Unlike the rest of the vacuum stats.

Or you can keep playing that record of how many yards, or points we keep scoring and yet continue to lose. They don't matter if you are not efficient and turn over the ball all day long. Waste of effort(inefficient).

Let's see where we stood today:

416/23 = 18.0.

That would put us about 28th for the year. We're 22nd, still, about where we have been all year, and for the day, we also ranked 22nd worse in the league. But hey we're ranked top 10 in the ones that have little to do with winning! Awesome, no?
