Yay, I can't wait to see 15 threads about how amazing he plays during the summer camps!

did you see him at TC? kid has a good bit of talent, some great hands, and a killer work ethic.

incredible potential as a slot receiver and could help out a lot with punt returns as well.

He was great in minicamp but he totally sucked in preseason when he was given a chance... just saying...

That isn't true. He wasn't great at returning punts but that was his first time doing that. As a receiver he had 6 catches in the first 3 preseason games before he got hurt. Not too bad working with the third teamers. What did you expect??

Good. This kid really has talent and there is no one on the team that works harder than he does. In training camp last year he caught absolutely everything. It should be tough, though, this year. With Jarrett, Robinson, Moore and Carter back as well as a potential draft signing, our receiver corp should be pretty good this year and the third through fifth spots should be a real competition.

i would be surprised if we had one person doing KRs and PRs. that wasn't what they were planning on with jones last year. with both ryne and carter out last year they tried using stewart but when he got a little dinged up they started using jones for both.

i can easily see us having 5 active WRs on game days.

smith/moose/jarrett

robinson/carter for returns and occasional 4 WR sets (it can happen).

It probably comes down to the long snapper and extra position for Lloyd on kickoffs. If we keep everything the same as last year it will be tough to keep more than 5 on the roster. I don't know if they are all active.

No lie I was searching the Panthers roster yesterday checking out the receivers and couldn't find him, well at least I found him now. I like these receivers the Panthers got.

Steve Smith

Muhsin Muhammad

Dwayne Jarrett

Ryne Robinson

Jason Carter

Kenneth Moore

Kevin McMahan

One to Two of them half to go and my pick is to let Jason Carter, Kenneth Moore, and Kevin McMahan battle it out in training camp and in the preseason and keep two of the three since Ryne Robinson is mainly a special teams player. My opinion is to just get rid of Kevin McMahan considering he was Mr. Irrelevant and went to college at Maine where Kenneth Moore who was a star at Wake Forest where he played WIDE RECEIVER, RUNNING BACK, KICK RETURNER, AND PUNT RETURNER.. On top of that he destroyed records by Tory Holt, Desmond Clark and fell a couple of yards short of beating the records of former Wake Forest/Carolina Panther standout RICKY PROEHL.

I would love to our receivers look somewhat like this and not worry about grabbing a receiver in the draft.

(Positions the player has played in his career)

Steve Smith (WR/PR/KR)

Muhsin Muhammad (WR)

Dwayne Jarrett (WR)

Ryne Robinson (RB/WR/PR/KR)

Jason Carter (QB/RB/WR/PR/KR)

Kenneth Moore (WR/RB/PR/KR)

ahhh man. when i first saw we signed "carter" i thought it was good ole drew carter who i liked quite a bit.

I know right they released Keary Colbert which I didn't have a problem with at all but releasing Drew Carter kinda ticked me off a little bit. If he was actually on a team that wanted to play football unlike the Oakland Raiders he could have done something with his career. I bet if he would have stayed here He could have turned out to be a Muhsin Muhammad type of player.
