Missed assignments, wide open receivers, players seem confused. It's unacceptable these players should know the defensive Playbook by now.

It's amazing because they played so far above their talent level in the first half and then completely fell apart in the 2nd. Butler was awesome against Jones, 3 straight batted passes 1 on 1 and then completely whiffed on the long TD run by Jones. At least we're looking much better vs the run with the two new starting DTs.

4 straight passing calls coming off a 1st & 5 staked the dagger in the heart. The other stuff was fluff to add to it. With 3-some minutes on the board, you figure they would at least try to put the ball on the ground.

The defense overall played very well. 10 points off of turnovers, and both of them on back to back drives really hurt them. In the end it was the offense....whos last NINE posessions ended in 2 picks,1 missed field goal, 1 turnover on downs and 5 punts....

Same type of play calling lost us the New Orleans game. This is a very San Diego"ish" type of offense. Huge big play capability,not much ball control "tough yards" play calling.

When it comes down to it, the problem is we need a #2 corner. Butler and Munnerlyn have been admirable in their efforts this year, but we need a #2. Hogan might be the answer, but we certainly have to look at a Morris Claiborne or Dre Kirkpatrick in the draft.
