Key moments/Observations

I'll start with Cam's picks. Big impact on the game, you can't win turning the ball over. Is not fair to point out though, that we had a chance to take the lead (after he lead us down the field late) with a missed FG.

-Overall he wasn't sharp at all in the 2nd half, but we still had a shot.

-Lastly, with only FIVE yards need for a first and THREE minutes on the clock. How do not call at least 1 run? Cam should have seen the checkdown on the last play, but my goodness, did we not realize we only need 5 yards??

In short, yea we suck, young, fire everyone, etc....As usual I'll stay the hell out of dodge for a while.

Yeah, Cam throwing two 15-20 yd passes at the end of the game when we needed five simple yards was NUTS.

And that right there is what cost us the games. Forget the pics, fumbles, etc...what happened earlier in the game. None of that matters when you are in that position and you can tie or win. Turnovers on downs can cost you even more than an interception or fumble, and this was a perfect example of that.

That's what did us in this time. It was that set right there.

Newton is making more bad decisions and off target throws these days, but as I said elsewhere I attribute that to rookie transition.

That usually goes the other way though, showing improvement as you grow, and the season's almost over so with 14 games and pre-season under his belt some things should start coming together now.

Atlanta's a damn good team though. I didn't expect a win but Cam Newton needs to get his head straight.

He is showing improvement.

He's also showing fatigue (both physical and mental).
