So who gets the blame for this loss?

offense 2 turnovers and time consuming scoring drives in the second 1/2. I put the blame on the whole team but mostly offense.

From my perspective, it's the same thing over and over. The offense, especially Cam, is carrying this team. No matter how well the rest of the team plays. There is no excuse for the entire team collapsing simply because of the rookie QB having 2 ints, I'm sorry. You cannot have it both ways. The Pats won and Tom had INTS. The Jags won and Blaine had two. Check the scores guys. Teams are still winning despite their QB's mistakes.

If Cam cannot make a mistake and this team recovers, then WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE ARE YOU SENDING?? That the entire Panthers is Cam, plain and simple. Not a very good move.

Put that drive at the end of the half out of your mind. It didn't matter.

If we look at our first drive of the second half, we weren't going conservative. Basically 2 passes, 1 run, and 1 of the passes was pretty deep I think.

Remember we were moving the ball before Cam's terrible first interception. that was not a play call problem, that was a terrible decision on his part.

Second interception came while we were moving the ball, too, though it was after a terrible holding penalty.

Fourth drive of the quarter ended before it began with a terrible penalty.

Fifth drive the Falcons made a great play on another short pass to stop Stew short. Don't usually see Stew stopped by the first guy on what seemed a sure fire first down.

Sixth drive Mare cost us the game...

So I don't think it was playcalling through most of the 2nd half, though the run-run-screen on the fifth drive was weird and predictable.

The final drive though, 1st and 5 and we forget that we have to get a first down to keep the drive alive. Inexcusable.

it's just an easy excuse for simpletons..

You can't hold onto the ball long when you are still dropping back and it's pressure already in your face.that falls on the OL.it was a team effort on the lost.

yeah, 2 undrafted rookies and was completely rearranged..

you're right, the Pats won and tom had an int... but what you might not know is that that interception led to a game tying TD that was nullified by a penalty. we did not get so 'lucky.' especially because Grossman threw an interception to end the game shortly afterwards.

also brady's team scored 14 points in the second half and they needed em all to pull out that win really.

It's not just Cam's mistakes that hurt this team, but everyones. This team seems to get way too caught up in momentum. Mare misses a FG? Time to blow our coverages and allow for an 80 yard play! I think it's because every player is overcompensating later in games and that is causing them to make mistakes.

too easy to blame one person, yet another team loss.

but imo Mare's missed FG is what broke us. Cam's ints wore the defense down, defense gave up big plays before that, but Mare's missed FG seemed to just deflate the defense.

Cam did have a nice drive after that, but too little, too late... and with some terrible decisions on that last series. Blech.

Two players who clearly stood out as reasons for the loss$

1. Cam....he helpd onto the ball WAY too long today. The two interceptions killed the offense in the seconf half. One was a hirrible pass and the other was a God Awful Decision. I love what he has done this season, but not accepting that he killed us today is pathetic.

2. Captain Munnerlyn....he should NOT be a starter in the NFL. He may overachieve based on his physical tools, but he is a major liability on this defense. We desperately need a playmaker in the seconday....and his name is Morris Claiborne.

Keep expecting every QB to come in and rescue the Prima-Donnas of this team. The Panthers will be looking up from the bottom for years, long after you get rid of Cam, until them and you fans wake up.

Who lose this game? The Panthers...No more excuses. You win as a team and you lose as a team.

The Jags just changed coaches and won by thrashing the Bucs with an even better score than the Panthers put up last week. Get it together folks. You have your rookie QB carrying your fugging team. Yet in some of your minds, he isn't doing enough. How sad is that?

And many of you spend more time looking up his ass with a magnifying glass while sitting there bragging about how many pro offense players you have on your team and making tons of excuses for your defense from the beginning of the season. Why is a team putting their entire season on the back of a rookie QB who has gone above and beyond his calling as a QB? Yeah, wear him to fug out, then complain that he isn't playing great for four quarters.

The Jag fans and the media are screaming for Blaine to get more help despite his own damn weaknesses. While Cam is told to do more and more and never make a mistake. Yep sounds right to me.

Just like their fans. Who was the one that called me a "killjoy" earlier?

I've suffered through lots of Jets loses. As I've said before, I feel your pain but I've learned to not get to ego driven just because my team is up by 14 in the first half. Football can be the longest 60 minutes you have every watched in your life when your team is leading in the first half and the reality of a second half is facing you.

I'm also a Giants fan. Will never forget watching the Eagles erase a 21 point lead with less than 12 minutes in the fourth quarter to beat my team but I couldn't get mad because the Eagles obviously wanted the win more. I simply don't rejoice until the game is over was just my point.

Everyone deservers credit for this loss...the entire team was awful in the 2nd half, all 3 phases. That said, it's awfully tough on an offense when you basically know you have to score 30 to have a chance to win. I think some of the 2nd half mistakes were Cam pressing too much because he realized the Falcons were going to go up and down the field the rest of the game.

There's a reason I stuck a ;) in there. I was teasing you, because I know what you meant, I just thought it was funny that you said it after being so "YEAH RALLY BEHIND YOUR TEAM!" for so long.

also I know all about the struggles of the Jets and Giants. I grew up just outside NYC, and though I was a Dolphins fan in my youth, I've seen more Jets/Giants games than any other team due to that. I know all about your suffering :p (though when I was growing up the Giants were pretty good for a bit there)
