Ghost Adventures

Search feature isn't working for me. I know we've discussed this before, but since I can't search, I couldn't find the thread.

Anybody ever watch this show? I like it. I mean, I don't know how much they fabricate their evidence, but I always found them entertaining and at least somewhat legit.

Any stories from any of you? I have one that I can't explain.

January of this year, me, a guy I worked out with at the time, his girlfriend, and another buddy of ours went out to this church to investigate a little. Long story short, I had a weird feeling, then my buddy's girlfriend gets shoved to the floor right in front of me (she was standing still). As we walked to the car, we stopped once we hit the light outside. The guy I workout with complained that there was something bugging his back. He took off his jacket, hoody (it was January in the mountains), and his shirt. He had 3 scratches, all about 2 inches apart, from the base of his neck to his lower back. Very continuous, all had some small bleeding.

This is something that shook us up.

Any others?

That's why we love watching it.

I like that they've started debunking more. It's not every little sound and shadow is a ghost now.

The snake and succubus episodes are my favorites. I can laugh for days after watching them.

Oh hell yeah. Awesome stuff.

The Johnny Cash episode was interesting. It sure did sound like him...

I watch it from time to time. I like it better then the one that comes on the travel channel where the Brisith guy used to get possessed every episode, Derick Acora I think. Anyways....

When I was about 7-8 years old, my family went on a vacation and we went to a civil war cemetery, I think it was in Richmond. anyways, we were walking along and my sister and I were running around playing, you know, stuff that kids do. anyways, my dad walks up to this nice old man who is standing there in front of a grave and asks to him about something, what I can't remember. They start talking and eventually the old man tells us he lives nearby and knows alot about the history of the area and of the soldiers in the graveyard. He walks around with us for a time telling us about this and about that. Finally, my parents turned to us and told us it was time to go and thank the man for taking time out of his day to help us out and the man wasn't there. There was no time for the man to run and hide around the building nor hide behind anything. And besides he was an old man who had been walking a a pace of 4 steps per minute the previous hour or so before. My dad started asking around about the man and nobody had seen or heard of him. I still remember exactly what he looked like to this day. Freaks me out just thinking about it.

That's pretty crazy. I've had a few experiences in my life, but nothing significant. I used to work in a warehouse that was over 80 years old and was used to build planes for WWII and was also owned by Howard Hughes. 3 times I saw a man in a white shirt and tan pants, usually in my peripheral vision, walking through the aisles. We all wore jeans at work. After a the second time I mentioned something to coworkers and two others had experiences. One was kneeling down in the middle of an aisle tying his shoe when he saw someone walk past him out of his peripheral vision, only to look up and have no one in his vicinity. The other was working after hours alone and was using a trash can to clean up, he walked away for a moment and went through a nearby door into the offices. When he came back down and opened the door, the trash can had been moved some 10 feet from where he left it to right in front of the door so he knocked it over when he opened the door. Other than that I had one scary experience when I was 15 in my parents house, within a week of my mom's father dying. I was downstairs, across the room from an open-air balcony/hallway on the second floor that the stairs led to up. It was mid-day and well lit, and while I was watching TV something up on the balcony caught my eye and immediately sent my body in fight/flight reaction. I turned my head and what I saw was a clearly defined black fog/mist hovering on the balcony, it was so clear that I could see it moving and circulating almost like smoke. I blinked and it was gone.

As for the show, these paranormal shows can be entertaining but it is television.
