Thats kinda what we did vs. Tampa. We did a good job against the run, but we ran up the score like mad and made them throw it. Of course when you are facing Josh Johnson, that usually means that is a W.

But I remember one drive we had in ATL that was over 10 minutes long. Great balance of run/pass right after halftime i think. Beautiful. I hope we can control the clock. That game was so winnable, ended up coming down to Cam's late interception by that D-lineman.

side note: I can't remember the actual stat, but the Panthers lead the league in "9+ play drives for 80 yards"..

And that was a freak play. Run that play 10 times, it's either an incomplete or a reception on the screen 9 times. Just that 1 time...fatty was able to haul it in. I want a little of both. Control the clock if our defense is playing lights out...but if the defense is letting them burn clock, we score in a hurry and force them to start passing more. I want to see us go a little no huddle at random times. Keep the defense on it's toes. I think defenses would freak the hell out trying to get set up considering all they have to account for on each and every play.

i'd like to see us go no huddle all game.

It really doesn't matter about our defense if we have a solid pass and run game to keep there defense wore down and their offense off the field so we keep the momentum. well that's just what i think haha.

that's the goal and nice in theory.. I don't expect the TOP to sway that drastically though.

Avoid the stupid penalties.

And we have a chance. Our D is not yet good enough to play shutdown football at this stage of their development. Our wins come when we avoid the big mistakes and are able to generate a turnover on D. Do that against the Falcons and we can win. All the pressure is on them.

I think if anything is possible, an INT or 2 is more likely to happen than us shutting anyone down..

let's hope the game is tied and that INT comes with 20 seconds left on the Falcunts 20 yard line...

Panthers don't have them and they win.

That has been the case in almost every game this year. Winning breeds confidence and it will be interesting if that is the case again this week.

1. seal the edge....Turner tore the hell out of the Panthers last time....defensive ends and

OLBs not staying home.

2. gap control. Stay in the gaps

3. multiple tacklers on Turner. He is too beastly for one person to bring down.
